IT IS AMAZING HOW MEN, WITHOUT FAIL ,TEND TO "CANONIZE" OR PLACE ON A PEDESTAL THE DECEASED, NO MATTER HOW INCORRIGIBLE OR TERRIBLE THEY WERE IN LIFE. IT IS OUR NATURE TO ASSUME AND HOPEFULLY, DESIRE THAT THOSE WE LOVE WHO'VE MADE THEIR TRANSITION, ENTER INTO HEAVEN, ESPECIALLY IF THEY SUFFERED WHILE ON THIS EARTH. THE TRUTH ABOUT THE MATTER IS THAT NO MATTER HOW "WONDERFUL" AND "GOOD" A PERSON WAS, NO MATTER HOW GENEROUS, HOW FREELY THEY GAVE TO THE POOR, FED THE HUNGRY, READ TO THE ELDERLY, MARCHED FOR THE RIGHT S OF OTHERS, HOW THEY NEVER CURSED, DRANK SMOKED, FORNICATED, OR LIED, WITHOUT CONFESSING CHRIST, THEY SHALL NOT SEE GOD OR PROCEED ON INTO HEAVEN. THERE ARE THOSE WHO'VE PASSED ON, WHO TRIED, AND PUBLICLY ACKNOWLEDGED EVERY "god" AND RELIGION KNOWN , EXCEPT THE ONE WHO CAN SAVE THEIR SOULS AND GUARANTEE THEM ETERNAL LIFE , JESUS, THE CHRIST, EMOTIONALLY, MANY, HOPE OR "WISH" THEM INTO HEAVEN. GOD IS NO REPECTER OF PERSONS WITH HIS BLESSINGS, NOR IS HE A RESPECTER OF PERSONS WITH HIS COMMANDS, AND THIS VERY SPECIFIC PLAN OF SALVATION IS PRETTY CUT AND DRY, AND THERE ARE NO LOOP HOLES OR 'GRAY" AREAS.THE BIBLE SAYS THAT UNLESS WE ARE BORN AGAIN, THRU THE REGENERATIVE POWER OF THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB, WE CAN NOT BE PARTAKERS OF ETERNAL LIFE. HE ALSO SAID THAT UNLESS WE ACTUALLY ENTER INTO COVENANT RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM, THEREBY BECOMING"ENGRAFTED IN", WE CA N NOT SEE JESUS OR ENTER INTO HEAVEN, AND THIS MEANS CONFESSING WITH OUR MOUTHS, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, AS BOTH LORD AND SAVIOUR, AND BELIEVING IN OUR HEARTS THAT HE IS THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD, WHO CAME TO EARTH IN THE FORM OF A MAN, WAS CRUCIFIED, DIED, WAS RESSURECTED, AND HE NOW SITS AT THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER, MAKING INTERCESSION FOR ALL THAT BELIEVE, AS KING OF KINGS, LORD OF LORDS, THE VERY PROPITIATION OF OUR SINS! NO MATTER HOW GREATLY WE LOVE THOSE WHOM WE'VE LOST, WE ARE DECEIVING OURSELVES, IF WE BELIEVE THAT, UNLESS THERE WAS A LAST "MILLISECOND" SALVATION AND CONVERSION, THEY ARE NOT IMMEDIATELY 'TRANSLATED" INTO A "BETTER PLACE", BECAUSE FOR THOSE WHO DIE IN SIN, AND NOT IN CHRIST, THEIR SUFFERING AND TORMENT HAS JUST BEGUN. WE, AS A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, AND DISCIPLES OF CHRIST, HAVE AN OBLIGATION TO SPEAK THE TRUTH REGARDING THE DISPOSITION OF THE DEAD, ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES. WE'RE NOT HELPING ANYONE, ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO REMAIN AND HAVE A WINDOW OF TIME REMAINING TO REPENT, BY TRYING TO "VOTE" OR "REASON" SOMEONE'S SOUL INTO THE PRESENCE OF CHRIST, IN DEATH. IT IS A HARD DIFFICULT TRUTH TO HAVE TO SPEAK OR PREACH, WHEN PEOPLE ARE HURT AND MOURNING, BUT IT'S A TRUTH THAT MAY SPARE THOSE WHO YET WALK AMONGST THE LIVING. I HAD THE OCCASION TO EULOGIZE A FAMILY MEMBER WHO HAD BEEN AN ATHEIST HIS ENTIRE LIFE, AND WHO GREATLY DISDAINED THE THINGS OF GOD, AND DURING THE SERVICE, PEOPLE GOT UP WITH THE "STANDARD FARE" OF HOW GOOD HE WAS AND HOW HE WAS IN HEAVEN, AND I HAD THE ARDUOUS CHORE OF SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT, AS I KNOW IT, AND THERE WERE SOME WHO WERE DISGRUNTLED, BUT THERE WER OTHERS WHO TOOK THE OPPORTUNITY TO EVALUATE THE CONDITION OF THEIR OWN SOULS, WHILE DEATH WAS STILL FRESH AND STARING THEM IN THE FACE AS A VERY REAL REALITY FOR EVERY LIVING ENTITY. IT IS, YET, EASIER FOR A CAMEL TO PASS THROUGH THE EYE OF A NEEDLE, THAN FOR A "RICH MAN" TO ENTER INTO HEAVEN. MAY GOD HAVE MERCY ON US ALL, AND MAY WE EMBRACE THE REVERENTIAL FEAR OF GOD, STUDY TO DO OUR OWN BUSINESS, AND WORK OUT OUR OWN SALVATION IN FEAR AND IN TREMBLING, WHILE THERE IS STILL DAY, FOR WHEN NIGHT COMETH, NO MAN SHALL WORK! FOR THOSE WHO IDOLIZE THOSE YOU ADMIRE AND ARE SO IMMENSELY FOND OF, MAKE A PERSISITENT PLEA TO THEM TO BOW THEIR KNEE TO CHRIST AND EXHORT THEM TO RECEIVE HIM AS SAVIOUR, WHILE THEY YET HAVE BREATH, BECAUSE ALL THE PRAYER VIGILS, PARADES, MARCHES, AND CEREMONIES ON EARTH WILLNOT RESCUE OR CHANGE THE DESTINY OF THEIR SOULS, ONCE THEYY HAVE PASSED ON INTO ETERNAL JUDGEMENT, IF THEY REJECTED HIM IN LIFE!

Those who you are speaking of, are dead, the dead is dead, however there must be especially from Christians an empathetic spirit toward the family members of the deceased. They are living, who through us can be shown a light.

A time of mourning, is not the time, to be hostile to a family, no matter who it is. Our fruits as Christians must always be seen.

R.I.P. is another way of saying I don’t believe there is a hell, when spoken on behalf of unbelievers. When I hears Christians speak these words for someone who wasn’t saved I REALLY get confused. A good friend of mine called me yesterday to discuss MJ’s death and we both had fond memories of him and spoke of our tears and morning of the situation. He was human and so are we, so we morn, right? My friend is saved and my sister in Christ and has God’s precious holy ghost just like I do but I was shocked when she spoke these words. Michael is resting now. He had a hard life and can finally rest. MJ was a muslim but people have put him in heaven with a God he did not believe in.

When my uncle died last year my mom said that he was in a better place. Because she is my mom and I knew I wouldn’t get an argument from her, I said Moma, uncle Henry wasn’t saved so he is not in a better place. She then said you’re right.

Another scenario that came from one of my Husband’s best friend is equally as confusing. This brother is the assistant pastor of a Sanctified church in Detroit. He had a cousin that had taken ill earlier this year. She had become so ill that she wasn’t expected to live. Those that are saved in the family went and prayed for her and asked her to give her life to Jesus. Her response was I don’t want to be saved, I don’t believe in all of that.

This brother told my husband on the phone that her condition was worsening and that they wish she would just go ahead and die because she is suffering too much. My thoughts were, dying without Jesus will bring more suffering than anything she could suffer here on earth. I said, don’t saints believe in hell anymore. She would have been better off suffering with her disease than to die in her sins. This woman died and did not care to know Jesus.

E.W. I always state especially about individuals raised in Godly homes, that we just don't know. Now Muslim, MJ may have been, but he was raised believing in Jesus, now I'm at lost about Jehovah's Witness, but I do know they believe in Jesus.

We don't know his hearts last second, only God, the thief on the cross stays in front of me.

However, I know how you feel in reference to the cousin individual, I had cousin who was overcome with "there is no god" and that we had all been brainwashed, this man sent condoms to my grandmother and great aunts with notes telling them to go and released their pent up emotions. (you know how that went over with the family)

When he died, I knew he went to hell, these individuals have been turn over to reprobate minds. Their agony has just begun.

But you know James, was he really? Now this is just me... I am the ultimate optimist, and it's hard for me to speak of someone lost.

however people say they are Christians and have no idea what that entails? You know the same thing happens with other religions.

I've met wiccans, who have no idea what their religion believes in, they have bought into the worshipper of the earth concept and so on.......

Not to mention the masons that have no idea the depths of their allegiances

Now I know Muslims are adamant as Christians teaching their beliefs, but I've met so many inside prisons that claim "I'm Muslim" and have no idea what that is. I mean I just wonder?

I can agree. There are many that claim their religion, but have no clue of the religions actual foundations, and its belief system in its deepest parts. I honestly have never heard Michael stating he was Muslim. Last time I checked, he was a Jehovah's Witness, along with Rebbie, and LaToya.

His brother Jermaine is Muslim, and tried to get Michael to become one. You know that Michael spent about 2 years over in Bahrain. But, only Yehwah really knows the motivation of his heart. His religious life is pretty much a mystery.

I have never heard him claim that either, I heard Jermaine state on tv that "may Allah be with his brother always" and I was shocked, for I never heard the Jacksons be anything but Jehovah's Witnesses.

years ago when I first Got Saved God had me to pray for MJ. I have shared this testimony down through the years. I didn't understand it back in 1990 but I was obedient and made INTERCESSION. Then some years later I undestood. When I got saved God USED me first as an INTERCESSOR.The effectural, fervant prayers of the righteous availeth much. As Saints we dont need anyone to interceed for us because Jesus is doing that as He is seated on the right hand of the father. But we are to do the same for those in the world!! I also remember God takin me to the Book of JUDE concerning My eldest son. Please if I may, read Jude 22-23 verses. The Lord let me know as I interceed for you you too have power to interceed for others. Snatchng them out of the fire! When MJ passed I asked God to let him in. Jesus said you can ask ANYTHNG IN MY NAME. There is no stipulations required of my asking because of my kindgom authority in the earth, \but mostly because of my SONSHIP TO THE FATHER. I dont know what MJ was spirtually, I belive He was seeking. I remember in the world while in the county jail, a lady by the name of sis Lucy in Chicago would pray for me everytime I got in trouble and would have me to read Psalm 46:1 I learned it while yet in my SIN and everything she said to me came to pass. She would accept my COLLECT CALLS FROM JAIL AND INTERCEED FOR ME, a nobody! And look at the fruit of her labor!
Agan I know the power of intercession and what can be accomplished from personal expeience. I thank the Lord for hearing my prayer fo MJ an I believe he is IN. I grew up on his music and He will be missed. I dont believe no one Love Jesus as much as I do, but i also loved and enjoyed my child hood listening to MJ and I still have a few of my friends yet still alive who shared his first hit "Big Boy" with me.(i was 8 or 9!!!. and I dont believe God would have us to be cruel, hostile or empathetic toward this at all. The word of Yehwah still says we should pray and intercede for others. The scripture you are referring to in context of Yeshuah interceding deals with our sins, but that does not give the excuse to stop interceding for others. One of the main reasons we saints are here on earth is to spread Yehwah's kingdom, and that happens through prayer, and action!
