OUR FATHER....
What image comes to your mind when you hear the word Father?
Is the image of your natural father or someone who was a father figure?
What do you say to someone who is not comfortable seeing the One we worship as "Father"?
What if the only experience they had with a father was:
* an absent father
* a molesting father
* an apathetic father who never listens
* a father who shows favortism
* a strict father
* a father who was a "rolling stone"
* a father who never gave words of affirmation but was constantly condemning
and so much more!
What do you say to that person when you want them to experience the Lord God, Jehovah, Yahweh as.... Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be His name!
