I would like to encourage the members of BPN to take some time and seriously reflect on these scriptures and in your own words, express what they are saying to you personally.

I am not looking for a challenge. What I am hoping to read is your response to God as it pertains to these scriptures.

We spend countless hours in dialogue, debates, preaching/teaching and posting paragraphs of our own commentaries on just about every thread on this network. Yet, I find very few comments where we encourage one another. We seem to be more interested in challenging each other with our knowledge of the Word rather than encourage one another in love and with patience. There are few of us who are actually on the same level of knowledge and wisdom, which is the very reason why we seem more prone to correct and rebuke because we feel it’s our duty to speak the truth as we know it to be.

My purpose for posting this thread is to encourage unity, even though we may still differ in our understanding and belief on some scriptures. I am challenging everyone to be less combative in our replies and more patient with those who may appear to you as not being able to “get it.”

So, when posting your comments and you happen to read another comment that you do not agree with as it pertains to their interpretation of a scripture, please refrain from correcting/rebuking. Please stick to the purpose of this thread. There are plenty of other threads where you can post your opposing views.

Peace in the Name of Yeshua

Exodus 20:2-3, I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Matthew 22:37-38, THOU SHALT LOVE THE LORD THY GOD WITH ALL THY HEART, AND WITH ALL THY SOUL, AND WITH ALL THY MIND. This is the first and great commandment.

Matthew 5:43-48, Ye have heard that it hath been said, THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Romans 12:1-2, I BESEECH you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Galatians 6:7-10, Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

With everything that is going on in this world, let us not forget the wisdom of God.

And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2

Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Distributing to the necessity of the saints; given to hospitality. Romans 12:9-13
