Seeking the Face of God!!!
Many times in the old church people used to pray and seek the Lords hand. We must come out of seeking his hand and seek his face for in the word in 2chronicles 7:14 that if the people of God which are called by his name would HUMBLE Themselves and PRAY SEEK HIS FACE and TURN. In that passage of scripture so many points are brought out first we must humble ourselves before the Lord when we pray we must remember that if we humble ourselves in his sight he will lift us up. God wants us to be humble not weak but humble to realize as the bible says in Psalms 121:1-3 he is our help he is our strength and guide but he we MUST seek his face. God told us to pray after we have humbled ourselves in his sight and not a prayer nessesarily asking for anything but a prayer of thanksgiving for the bible says in Psalms 100:4 enter into his gates meaning even if it looks like God is not moving just know like the men and wemon of God in the bible knew that because they were after him and saught his face God was going to bring them into a wealthy place of ultimate peace,prosperity, delieverance, and victory like he wants to do for the believer today.(Psalms 66:12) The bible tells us in Philippians 4:4 to rejoice in the Lord ALWAYS in all situations because the bible says pray and seek his face and seeking the face of God can some times test our patience.
God wants to see if we can hold on to his hand and be strong even when times get tough. When seeking the face of God we have to get some word working on the inside of us that says "God I know you are able to do what I need you to do and I know you are working in my favor and for my good". God has plans for your life to ultimatly bring you out of your captivity and place you on the path of your destiny but that all comes from seeking his face. Now more than ever we MUST, NEED TO , HAVE TO seek the face of God we are living in a generation that seeks to try to move God out of the picture but God wants to get the glory out of our lives and in order for him to be able to show his glory in our lives we must turn 180 not 360 turn from our wicked ways and run after the Lord. The bible tells us to seek him while he may be found!!! Seek him, Seek him, Seek him it is urgent that we seek him because the power we have is tied up in him and the only way to get the power of the holy spirit to work on the inside of you to show forth his glory through signs, miracles and wonders is through Prayer! prayer builds a personal relationship between you and the lord a communication we are in the Family of God , God being our father wants to communicate with us his children to bring us into our designed wealthy place! So we must seek the face of God
