THE CLOSING OF THE YEAR 2011

As 2011 comes to a close, we will reminence on some victories and successes as well as some failures and some losses. We will remember the high triumphant times and the low times of struggles and defeat. But whatever the  case and scenario may have been for us, we should have learned some valuable lessons through of of these things.

As the new year approaches, there will be a need to:

Let some things go, let some people go. Those that left were not meant to be permanent in your life, and their time in your life has expired. “Stop trying to hang on to people and things you should have let go a long time ago.” says the Lord.

Untie the rope to some people or things that you have been tied to, unless you fall over the cliff with them/it trying to save them/it.

Gain a new perspective about your self and about your life. Things that have happened on this year in many lives may have drained, depleted and robbed many of their peace, strength, health, finances, happiness or joy, and affected their overall well-being.  But these tests, fiery trials, storms, death and persecution were not designed or orchestrated by God to kill or destroy you, rather they were designed and allowed by God to strengthen you, bring you closer to Him, show you a more excellent way regarding spiritual things or things of the Lord. They were designed and orchestrated by God to work together for your good that they may bring about an eternal weight of glory, as they were part of the preparation process and refining furnace, to burn out of you any and all things that would be detrimental to your spiritual and natural well-being, growth and maturity. Father-God, the Lord your God created you with a specific purpose in mind, and moment by moment, day by day as your Heavenly Father, He is obligated to see to it that that purpose be not aborted nor miscarried. So though your year may have been a rough year, tell your self and believe that it was a great year, working together to bring about a greater glory for your life, one that will glorify the love, power, strength, mercy, grace, forgiveness and lovingkindnesses of the Lord your God.

Let go of all hurt, pain, unforgiveness, disappointments, discouragement, bitterness, anger, fears, doubt, strife, envy, jealousy, stress, hang-ups, failures, losses, rejection, abandonment, abortion, all types of abuse, misuse, any type of victimization and all other ills that may have affected you and others in a negative way. What you hold on to is what you allow, and is what you feed, give power to and enable to operate in your life, and determine the outcome in your life.

You've made it through another year, you've made it through another day, and but by the grace of God, you never would have made it. This year 2011, will be a year that you will never see again. It will be a year of the past, and a year that you will have to move from and walk out of, in order to walk into the new year.
