Eccl 12:13,"Hear the end of the matter, the sun: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole man."

Eccl 12:13,"The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man."

So, basically man's purpose is to keep the Torah of HaShem, and keeping His Torah shows that man loves, fears, and obeys Him.
