As some know I and my husband do jail and prison ministry here in Texas. 2nd Chance Jail and Prison Ministry

Our mission scripture is 1Corinthians 15:21

For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. (In Christ Jesus ones have a 2nd Chance)

We minister a new life to those incarcerated through the Word of God. (I have a special love for those women on deathrow)

These are young, and old men and women, who have 24/7 to ingest God's Word, and those that open their hearts to it, come home filled with hope, joy, and a little nervousness of how the Body of Christ will accept them.

Our message is to stay focus on Jesus, walk bodly into the house of your Father, and proclaim that salvation is yours.

Yes, there will be scoffers, but walk the life and allow ones to see the change. Their biggest obstacle is family, because family has been hurt more than likely, more than once by them.

You know it's so many people in sin today,that continue thier sins on a daily basis.At least I know those who have broken mans law,and have served thier tjme is no threat to me or mine.And one thing that statistics prove is that those who are put in prison are more likely to seek the Lord than those that have complete freedom,and it's more likely to stick with them because they know the reprocussions of a godless life.And who are we anyway,it's a lot of people with criminal backgrounds running buisnesses,cooking our food,working in and out of our homes,because they have people in influential positions[Romans14:10]BUT WHY DOST THOU JUDGE THY BROTHER?FOR WE ALL SHALL STAND BEFORE THE JUDGEMENT SEAT OF CHRIST!!

Amen, it is our ministry goal to network with these individuals and churches, when these men and women get out word is sent to the local enforcement agencies of their return, we have a goal that the churches in our community know as well. It is a simple process, of course where I live is considered a rural area outside of Dallas, and it is not as easy in bigger communities but it can still be accomplish.

Just like on the outside there are those that just come to church because of tradition, those are the ones that talk alot, "I know", "I was raised"," I'm ready," "I'm called" those are the ones I send up extra prayers for, however those that quietly sit, listening, taking it all in, it never fails, they don't return because they have received in their hearts the gospel.

They are stronger men and women in the word than most free world people, they don't want to hear form, fame and fashion, they want the gospel of Jesus Christ.
