WHERE HAS ALL THE LOVE GONE

This morning as I was meditating, the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, ask my people, "where has all the love gone?"

 Hosea 14:4 and Hebrews 13:1-2

It sounds to me that God is relating the Love Loss to backsliding and backsliding has to do with the enemy taking the sin in our hearts and taking us captive resulting in the ability not to reach out to allow God to use us in the area of Love.  The scripture tells of in Matt 24:12 in the last days what will take place with this part.  I do like what God has to say particularly in Hosea 14.4 about healing our backsliding and he would love us freely and this love will go out to those spoken of in Hebrews 13:2.  The Love that God has bestowed upon us has been taken captive by the enemy.  Thank God for healing us and setting us free to be used by him.

I agree. Unless circumcision of the heart has been done, we as God's people will not be able to go forth in love. I was just ministering to a person who has been married for 18yrs and is calling it quits. It grieves my heart because all of this is part of what you spoke about (backsliding  allowing  the enemy to use sin in  taking the heart captive). The heart is a vital and necessary organ which gives life, "keep thy heart with all diligence," Prov. 4:23.  We have to believe that God is who He says He is.  Issues are part of our journey on this earth. But more than anything , LOVE IS AT THE FORE FRONT OF IT ALL. I certainly am grateful to God for healing us and using us to teach others how to share Agape Love. The bridegroom is beckening us unto him .Rev.19:7-9
