You The Anointing AND Training to be an Effective Minister!

In too many of our churches (I am talking to Black folks) we have the ancient slave mentality that says, “I don’t need to go to school to be a preacher, I got the anointing!” Well during the days of slavery and Jim Crow we didn’t have an opportunity to go to Seminary or Bible Colleges. My grandfather was a deacon and his brother was a pastor back in the days when folks only got a grade school education and had to quit because they had to help pick tobacco. My forefathers made due the best they could under harsh circumstances. Now there is NO excuse for a preacher not getting formal training! You may not be able to afford Harvard or Princeton Theological Seminary, but every denomination should have a local Bible school. Most churches today have their own Bible Institutes or Schools. When you accepted the call to preach you also accepted the call to discipleship (training). Jesus spent 3 years training His disciples for ministry. He taught them how to pray, how to cast out devils, how to lay hands on the sick, how to carry themselves, and how to make more disciples. I am disgusted at how easy it is to be ordained in our churches. Just because a brother or sister can testify loud or run their mouth doesn’t mean they are called to preach! If they are called they will be willing to be trained BEFORE being given a piece of paper ordaining them. Remember this, if the preacher is ignorant and unlearned, then the people will be too! The gospel preacher must devote his (or her) life to purity of doctrine. Paul warned Timothy to avoid fables and old wives tales. It’s very easy for preachers to get involved in the “flavor of the month” teachings.

You don't need to go to school to be a teacher, you need a teacher who is sent. A teacher who is sent keeps the commandments, keeps the dietary law, keeps the cleanliness laws, and keeps the Feasts of the Lord.

You have no understanding of the Word of God. I know more about the Bible, and God's plan than you. You think we go to heaven, but the Lord is coming here. You think that the Father was the god of the Old Testament, and that is not true. You think there will be a 7 year tribulation. you believe in the trinity. All these things come from Rome. You believe the traditions of man.

This is the problem with the church, and I did not go to church school to or Theology class to get this info.

Would you go to a doctor that didn't go to medical school?

I would not go to a doctor for anything, but a diagnosis, and I would have to get 3 or 4 opinions.

Do Doctors not call their profession a "Practice" ?

I would rather not they practice on me, and rely on God's word.

Right in the beginning of your post, you said that the Bible college said that you need to increase your "knowledge about ministry". Why would you not need to increase your knowledge of the Bible in a Bible college?

You said the 3rd person in the godhead. There are only 2 in the godhead. The Son and the Father. The holy spirit from what I read is an angel. It said in one place the Holy spirit, and then it said it in another book, and it said the Holy angel. The same situation, but different books.

The Trinity is not real. It is a tradition of man. It is not in the Bible.

I can show you all of the scriptures that show that the Holy Spirit is an angel. The Protocol of God goes like this. The father gives the word to the son, the son gives it to the angel, and the angel gives it to Israel, and Israel gives it to all of the nations of man.

I am saying that the Holy Spirit is an angel. Did you know that you are an Israelite Brother Anthony? Did your ancestors come over here in ships?

Israel was carted off into captivity. What people was carted off in captivity in ships in the masses?

You have found Israel.

But I can give you the scriptures for the Holy angel, and then if you would like. I can give you scriptures and history that shows we are Israelites of the Bible.
