Allowing Jesus To Elevate YOU in a uncomfortable situation.

Last night I was in a situation where I had to deal with a person that has been a challenge for me from the very begining. She pushings me to dig deep inside to follow the Words of Jesus...to love. I realized last night how uncomfortable I feel when I am in her presence, and I noticed how it causes me to say "breath" prayers to keep me covered and my tongue under control. This is what allows the Spirit to work it out. Because I know "no weapon formed against me shall prosper", and I also know that just as the Spirit is working in me, He is working in her. So I want to encourage everyone to be spiritually alert at all times. And when your behavior/actions does not feel right, say a quick prayer for "help". These situations are being used to change you into what God is changing you into. Do not resist it. Welcome it.

You are beginning to experience the unusual and unforgettable. Your atmosphere will take on a surreal quality, and you may even feel out of place. But, you must keep your eyes wide open. Be alert and attentive because I am elevating you to a level of spiritual discernment and authority that you have yet to realize. Allow Me to take you higher into the realms of My glory, says the Lord. Prepare to be stretched.

so simple, and yet so many of us forget to, or rather, not thik of such a wonderful way to take control of this flesh in trying times.

We have to keep our minds set on Heavenly things all the time. It's like when you are driving a car, if you look away for a second, you are at risk of rear-ending someone. I notice that if I am driving, and I decide to listen to my Jill Scott, if I linger there, I end up turning on the hip hop station, and I have opened my mind up for the enemy to catch me off guard. Yes, I am having a problem giving up Jill : ), but I just listen in small amounts of doses. Because I am learning, I HAVE to keep my mind and eyes on the prize...

That is why I am always saying to others to stay encouraged, because I am actually speaking to myself : )
