- Barry’s life began on June 14, 1977. He’s the son of Deacon James and Betty Dukes. He was raised in Dania, Florida where his family still resides until this day. He was fortunate to have Christian parents who always installed God fearing values, and morals throughout his upbringing. His father often times studied the word with him as a child, he also prayed alongside of his mother many nights before going to bed. He attended South Broward High School and graduated in 1996. At the age of 14 he recongnized the call of God on life to preach but didn’t know the road his life was going to take. In his late teens Barry strayed away from the Lord and became rebellious in his heart but was born again on November 19th 1999. In 2000 he joined Bethel Baptist Church under the leadership of (Reverend G. Bernard Pope) where he actively used his gifts in their music ministry as the drummer, and youth choir president. Furthermore he was also over the praise dance ministry.
He joined New Creation Christian Fellowship in 2002 under the leadership of (Pastors David and Madelyn Washington) and was also a member of the praise team, drummer, and instructor for the adult praise dance ministry. During that same year he met and connected with Pastor Jeffrise Jackson Jr. who was the Youth Pastor at (Trinity Baptist Chruch) the two formed a spiritual bond that would later be used for God’s divine purpose. Knowing to everything there is a season and after much prayer he joined Chariots of Blessings Ministry, under the leadership of (Pastor Lillian R. Charles). Barry was active as the Youth Minister, and drummer in the ministry. Whereas in the summer of 2004 Barry also joined the Evangelistic ministry of his future Apostle Jeffrise Jackson Jr. and walked along side of him as his Armor Bearer.
Wanting to be obedient to the Holy Spirit in 2004 he joined what is known today as Revival Time Worship Center under the leadership of (Apostle Jeffrise Jackson Jr.) In June 6th 2005 Barry was officially licensed as Minister Barry Dukes by Pastor Jackson and now serves as the Executive Administrator, Head Armor
Bearer, and drummer in the ministry. He’s seen the power of God work when he’s gone out and Evangelized at various other ministries.
Finally, on November 19, 2006 he was ordained as Elder Barry Dukes at Revival Time Worship Center, under the leadership of Apostle Jeffrise Jackson Jr; and on November 11, 2007 he was appointed as the Assistant Pastor of Revival Time Worship Center. Today Elder Barry Dukes works along side Apostle Jefferise Jackson and in ministry. He believes that ministry is not about the individual, thus in his own words “You must continue to humble yourself daily, no one can see you but must see the Jesus in you.
