As we enter the holiday season, we should remember that our Lord is a God of Love and we are created in His image. Psalms 47:1 says Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph! We are to Bless the Lord at all times and His praise shall continually be in our mouths. It does not say in the good times only but it says continually, which means even during difficult times. There has been a lot going on this past week with the rain and flooding. During these times of economic difficulty when people are losing their jobs, their homes, their cars etc., it is so important that we still keep our focus on the Lord. He has promised to be our strength, our shield , the horn of our salvation, our stronghold and our refuge. He is our Savior and will save us from our enemies. My Redeemer lives (Job 19:25) Jesus lives. We have been redeemed from the curse of sickness and death. Healing is ours for by His stripes we are and were healed. (Isaiah 53:5 and 2 Peter 2:24). There are many people in need of a healing. I am not just talking about a physical healing but a healing in their mind, their spirit, and their emotions.
