Psalms 47:1 says Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph! We are to Bless the Lord at all times and His praise shall continually be in our mouths. It does not say in the good times only but it says continually, which means even during difficult times. There has been a lot going on this past week with the rain and flooding. People have lost everything and some have even lost their lives. Pray for those families that they may be encouraged this day to trust in the Lord and to praise His Name. It may be difficult for some to praise the Lord right now, but if you do I believe you will see the Lord do some miraculous things for you. If your home was destroyed, sing praises to the Lord while you are throwing out your water logged belongings or tearing down the water soaked drywall. Learn to worship and praise God through the good and the bad and watch Him move mightily on your behalf. The Psalms is full of events where people were in terrible situations, but they turned to the Lord and He delivered them, showing them what to do and how to do it so that the outcome would be a blessing to them. If we do the same God will move in our situation suddenly. We just need to let the Lord know who He is to us personally. He is not a respecter of persons, what He has done for one He will do for you if you trust Him and begin to sing, praise, worship, clap your hands and dance before Him during these troubling times. He loves you and you are His chosen vessel, His workman ship, His holy nation. Bless His Name today and watch Him move on your behalf.
