Beloved Jesus Christ in the Bible says that death entered into the world by one man committing sin and then passed on to all since all have sinned. Man can become free from the original sin by not regarding any thing or person as good or evil and attaining God-like sameness towards all. He will then be freed from death and attain everlasting life.

We are all living under the delusion that death is imperative; that every person will die. But that is not true. We were meant to be immortal; this simple truth has been repeatedly revealed in our scriptures.

The Bible says:

That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:15

Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth in Me hath everlasting life. John 6:47

Verily, verily, I say unto you, if a man keeps my saying, he shall never see death.
John 8:51

This fact is highlighted in the Bhagavad Gita as well:
Having crossed over these three attributes arising from the body, the dweller in the body is completely freed from birth, death, old age and sorrow and attains immortality. Chapter 14:20

The scriptures have been read over and over again by mankind, yet no one could understand the real sense of the words contained in them. We could never imagine that phrases such as "have eternal life" or "never die" or "completely free from sorrow, old age and death" literally mean living forever.

The very first thing that we need to understand is that death comes to us due to sin. Since death comes by sin and it comes to all in the world, all are sinners; there is none that is righteous, as stated by Jesus Christ:

As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one. Roman 3:10

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Roman 3:23

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for all have sinned. Roman 5:12

The next thing that we need to understand is that we commit sin not by our actions but by our thoughts:

Flee fornification. Every sin that a man commiteth is without the body; but he that commiteth fornification, sinneth against his own body. I-Corinthians 6:18

Ye have heard that it was said by them in old time: Thou shall not commit adultery. But I say unto you that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. Matthew

5:27-28

That man commits fornification and sin by his thoughts and not by the body is confirmed by Jesus Christ when He says that a person who looks on a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Which sin was committed by one man that has continued to be committed down the millennia by every man/woman resulting in his/her death? The Genesis gives the answer:

And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat; But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

When we regard something as good and something else as evil, we eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. And this constitutes a sin before God since all things have been created by God. The sin by which death had entered into the world was the sin of eating the forbidden fruit of regarding things as good and evil. Death passed on to all men since all of them started eating the forbidden fruit. They started looking at things as good and evil.

It is possible for man to overcome death and live forever in the same physical form provided he keeps the sayings of Jesus Christ and follows the words spoken by Him:

Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
John 5:43-48

A person who loves his enemies, blesses them that curse him, does good to them that hate him and prays for them that persecute him is a true Christian. Having become the son of God, like Jesus Christ, he will be freed from the ideas of good and evil. He will then be liberated from death and will attain eternal life.

It is not necessary to visit any place of worship or live a life marked with rigid dos and don’ts to become righteous and attain eternal life. All that is required is to stop eating the forbidden fruit by not looking at men and women as good or evil, friends or foes, holy or sinners, but by regarding all as alike. This is the wisdom of God that will make a person one with God.

This wisdom of becoming the same to all beings was imparted by Lord Krishna who gave His teachings in the form of the Bhagavad Gita. He says:

He who keeps the same intellect towards the good-hearted, friends, foes, holy also the sinner, he excels. Chapter 6:9

He, who neither hates nor desires, should be considered a perpetual sanyasi [renouncer]. For, Arjuna, he who is free from the pairs of opposites is easily released from bondage. Chapter 5:3

The Gita says that all bodies are embodied by the all-pervading indestructible, that is, by God Himself. All human beings are forms of God or they are themselves God, but they do not have this self-realization. The same spirit or soul lives in all bodies but due to a delusion created by the ego, every person looks at him as ‘I’ – a man or a woman, as you and me – and fails to know that he is God and so are all other beings. A person who is freed from the delusion created by the ego will become the same to all by realizing that all beings are God. He will be freed from the ideas of good and evil and will regard all as one, that is, God. His lifespan will increase and, having become perfect just like God, he will attain eternal life.

There are only two ways to become free from the ego and hate. First, by believing and accepting as true the words of God spoken by the prophets and revered as the scriptures. There is simply no room for criticism or doubt here. We have to believe that all beings are sinners and there is none righteous, as stated in Romans 3:10 and 3:23. We have to believe that death is not imperative but that it is caused by sin and since death comes to all, then all have sinned. We have to believe that man commits sin by thoughts and not by the body; that a person who looks on a woman (or man) with lust has already committed adultery in his/her heart. Similarly, we have to believe that if we love our enemies, bless them that curse us, do good to them that hate us and pray for those that persecute us, we will have done what has been said by Jesus Christ. We have to believe that all bodies are kingdoms of God or all beings are God, as spoken by Jesus Christ:

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
I-Corinthians 3:16

What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? I-Corinthians 6:19

Jesus answered them, is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? John 10:34

The all-pervading God is a word or wisdom of sameness towards all beings, as stated by Christ and Krishna both. This Word or Wisdom is the Truth that the same God lives in all the bodies, that is, all beings are forms of God or they are God. A person who is freed from good and evil and attains God-like Love or sameness towards all beings, realizing that all beings are God, will be freed from sin and death and will attain everlasting life.

Verse 5:6 of the Bhagavad Gita says that it is difficult for a person to renounce hate and desire without Yog. But a person who is established in Yog quickly attains wisdom or the consciousness of sameness towards all beings. The individual will then be freed from desire and hate and will live forever.

Yog is a science that requires change in our thoughts, and not in our actions. The reason, as explained earlier, is that we commit sin by our thoughts and not by our actions. We do not commit any sin by our actions since all actions are performed by the nature, not by us:

Actions in all cases are performed by the attributes of nature; one who is deluded by egoism thinks "I am the doer". Chapter 3:27
Having crossed over these three attributes (purity, passion and delusion), the dweller in the body is completely freed from birth, death, old age and sorrow and attains immortality. Chapter 14:20

The Bhagavad Gita reveals that there are three attributes, namely, purity, passion and delusion, in the nature of all beings. All actions are performed by these three attributes. But we are deluded by the ego and think that we are the doers. Since we think of ourselves as the doers, we get attached to these attributes. This leads to stress, diseases, aging and death. The person who, while remaining engaged in his actions, thinks that he is not the doer but that the actions are performed by nature, will transcend the attributes of purity, passion and delusion and live forever.

This is the wisdom lying unexplored in the Gita:

He who is united and knows the truth thus thinks, ‘I do nothing at all’ and in seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, tasting, walking, sleeping, breathing, speaking, releasing, seizing, opening and closing the eyes, believes that only the senses are moving among the objects of senses. Chapter 5:8-9

It is simply because we do not realize that we are all God and that all actions are performed not by us but by the Nature that we regard the beings as good and evil and commit sin that results in our death. All we have to do is to first understand and believe as true the words of God written in our Holy Scriptures and then follow the path of wisdom laid down by God. We do not have to change our life style and actions to become righteous. We have only to become free from the knowledge of good and evil to be free from sin and death and enter a new age where all beings will live in peace, harmony and oneness, realizing that all are God.

Pray this prayer now:

Every power magnetizing physical and spiritual curses tome, I raise the blood of Jesus against you and I challenge you by fire, in the name of Jesus

Serving Jesus
David.
