This is very simple treaty on how the believer may 'capture the glory of God.' While I do not espouse anyone's audacious attempt at manipulating what some might term as the glory of God, I must admit that the more I study the ways and movements of God, he brings me closer to this revelatory awareness that I really do have the right to 'capture glory!'

1 Kings 8:1-4 encapsules our scriptural imagery for this concept. we happen upon a moment in history unlike any other, when Israel's king Solomon is now drawn to the recently completed building project he had initiated - you know the one called Solomon's Temple and House.

King Solomon waits until all priests, servants and people of the Lord are in place, waiting in expectancy for something glorious to happen.
As the priests are released from their duties of placement of holy articles, something unusual and totally unscripted occurs.

The Bible records the wonder of the moment when it is recorded that as soon as the priests were finished in placing the holy articles in the Holy of Holies, that the cloud of God's presence went into that same area, and filled it completely, thereby cuasing all fleshly ministry to cease!

My friends, this scenario, seems to hold something profound within iits confines! So then, what is it that is so different about this moment?

Answer: The same cloud that had always hovered above the tent of meeting, above the tabernacle in the wilderness, the same cloud that had led Israel for over 40 years, had changed position!

Church, the Cloud of God's Presence Is In Transition! The Cloud is moving! What do church leaders do when God begins to shift their ministry perspective? What happens to church membership when God initiates such a soereign move of power that even the doorposts, the courts of the Lord's house, and the ministers of the house of the Lord can no longer stand in their flesh to do anything? Friend, what do you do when God suddenly takes over every church service for a year or more? How do we respond to the movement of God once again dominating His Holy House?

Have we done enough service in God's House that He is now pleased to minister in the same? How does ministry really look now that God is in the House?

So, in essence, the cloud moves into the Temple; it is no longer hovering above the Temple! The cloud is now a participating member of our church, rather than an outside spectator of our flesh-on-parade shenanigans!

Finally, the cloud not only moves into the Temple dedicated unto God, but it occupies every place where man used to minister.
Church, there is a sanctification process going on in the Lord's House! I ownder if you're willing to participate? Are you, the temple of the living God, willing to let His power begin 'cleaning out' your house - even to the point that there is no more carnality standing in His way?

In Part 2, I shall go a little farther expressing the joy of the Lord and how we can capture glory! Tell me what you think of this first portion. Grace and Peace!
