Well, I hope that you're ready to go a bit farther with me on a journey into the faraway land of revelatory contemplation!
Today, I want you to put on your spectacles of faith and focus on Micah 4:1-3.
This Old Testament passage places a major challenge upon our contemporary perspective of Church and God's expectations of our practical use of faith. God has inserted a challenge to everyone who claims any level of truth, and that we convert that truth into Kingdom reality. He is not asking that we do this, God is commanding us to do it!

The prophet Micah begins to cry out, using imageries that many present-day believers are totally unfamiliar with. The
Holy Spirit has called me to champion an aggressive advancement strategy for the Body of Christ to reconsider how we do church. The advancement strategy can only begin if we dare obey this most peculiar of mandates from our God and King!

Church, God is calling the Church to reconsider what we are to do with our Word, our words, and our ministry methods!
He is saying in this scripture, "Take another look at what I have given you: your faith, your preached ministry, your worship levels, your marketplace efforts, etc. Then I want you to take what I've given you and convert it into something no one ever expected, especially the enemy himself! I now command you to take your swords and your spears, and convert them into harvest reaping instruments."

Friends, if you can't understand what God is saying to the Church-at-large, let me try to put it into words you can understand. Because of the revelations released to me while reading this word, God has commissioned me to use it as our annual theme: "Retooling The Church For Kingdom Advancement!"

Beginning next year in 2010, the entire global network of FreshFire Fellowship Ministries International will be ministering under this prophetic-wisdom banner.

I would now like to request your input as to what you believe God is saying to us all through this word from heaven. Send it ASAP as we are already strategizing and planning and praying and reconfiguring who and what we do. It is our endeavor to remain current in our ministry methodology and yet relative to the proper articulation of God's absolute truth. Let me hear your ponderings on this matter!

Finally, as usual, we never tire from this- so...Grace and Peace, from your Apostle, Bishop Andre E. Matthews!
