If you've ever been in labor and travail to bring forth, ladies, you most likely have memories of the frantic activities in the delivery room with you as the "co-star" and the coming child as the star. Fortunately or unfortunately depending on the perspective from which you view the matter, because the experience is deeply "spiritual" and one enters into another realm in the process of conception, the carrying, and the actual birthing, because it allows you to be in that supernatural life giving miracle process of new life and creation. The Bible declares in Jeremiah 30:6 " Ask me now and see whether a man doth travail with child wherefore do i see every man with his hands on his loins as a woman in travail?" The men shall labor to give birth, and we, as women through our natural God given purpose and ability to actively replenish the earth have been positioned to coach you through the very complex "birthing" procedures, and to also, tend to one another as we labor to come to birth and not abort the harvest that we have long waited for. During lamaze classes and in the actual birthing or labor room the expectant Mother is encouraged to "push" as the baby makes it's way down the birth canal in preparation for it to make it''s debut on planet earth. As the muscles swell and contract pressing upon other organs, there is an urgent need to "bear down" and "push" because by then, Mommy Dearest is ready to get this massive piece of flesh known as "baby" out of the limited confines and space of her formerly "compact" womb. One has to be careful with this "pushing" business because should the Mother push "out of rhythm" with her contractions she can rupture her womb , abruptly end her career as an "underground railroad" for "fugitive" babies and damage the fetus. There is a revelation regarding the birthing, labor and delivery process and that being "don't "PUSH" but "PANT"! Panting releases the "ruwach breath of life through us and the breath of life reinforces our life stream it "oxygenates us, and renews our strength with every inhale, while purging out and numbing the pain of the process. When we "push" we are moving in our own strength exerting our own power and exhausting ourselves as we , possibly, prolong the delivery. When one "pants" the "ruwach" of God we are provoking the Spirit of God to breathe on us afresh, to fortify us, and to expedite our labor of love lest we faint. When one understands the wisdom of "panting" as the deer panteth for the water brook", pushing will come easy. Pushing by it's very implication, indicates aggression, and it's not always beneficial to "push" unless we do so under the advisement and counsel of the Holy Spirit. We embrace the mantra to "PUSH" until "something" happens which sounds wonderful in theory, but to not be specific in your "somethings" opens the door to all kinds of "things" happening. Some "pushings" result in miscarriage, still birth, strangulated and compressed "cords" rupture of the lining of the womb hemorrhage and trauma to the baby's head or body, and no one wants to experience any of those traumas.. Panting holds no danger, and it's calming ,relaxing, and it's a positive distraction. When you find yourself in "stirrups" vulnerable ,naked, and with all of your business on display", exposed ,in sore travail ,hurting, in anguish and desperate to "get it out of me!", resist the urge to "push" and "pant" the "ruwach" as a form of praise. It doesn't matter that you may be disheveled and unkempt, because we understand that you've been handling some very serious kingdom business, as you were in the posture of "being fruitful and actively "multiplying"! We're not concerned about your nakedness, because we empathize with you for where you are and we've all been under the bright overhead lights of the labor room as the Lord "shined the searchlight from heaven on our souls", and if we haven't we know there's a "suite" reserved for us in one, somewhere. It is undesirable, if possible to give the laboring Mother anesthesia, but the "ruwach" of God is an anesthetic, analgesic, and "pain therapy" all by itself. The psalmist, David, was in a birthing situation when he wrote the 42 division of Psalms, and his mission was to not abort and disappoint God, yet again. Apostle Paul was in the labor room, panting when he found himself imprisoned, and standing upon Areopagus! He was there"panting" when he found himself in famine and persecution, and in peril, because he said "I have BEGOTTEN you in the Spirit"! How does one go about "panting"? WHEN YOU FEEL FEEL THIS "THING" THAT YOU'VE BEEN CARRYING AROUND IN YOUR SPIRIT,THAT HAS HAD YOU RESTLESS AGITATED, UNCOMFORTABLE, WITH A FLUCTUATING APPETITE (SUDDENLY YOU ARE "CRAVING "JESUS, AND NOTHING BUT FRESH MANNA) and when your spiritual hormones are raging, and your sleep pattern begins to shift because this "thing" compels you out of bed at the oddest hours, when it begins to press on other organs (gifts) and it keeps you running to and fro to "relieve" yourself ongoing deliverance), and when you feel the gushing of the waters( the rivers of life) followed by intense "contractions ( groanings and lamentation), and then you finally feel an assertive rumbling, rolling, and the stirring of the "thing" within your spiritual womb, this is the time to shut every other thought out of your mind, cast down every "high thing" that exalted itself against the knowledge of God, and you begin to concentrate on the Lamb of God, and you start the melody that goes "SWEET HOLY SPIRIT,SWEET HEAVENLY DOVE,STAY RIGHT HERE WITH US FILLING US WITH YOUR LOVE"! or "SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD,FALL FRESH ON ME, MAKE ME, MOLD ME, FILL ME, SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD FALL FRESH ON ME"! The panting has been activated and you're "crowning" now! You'll begin to hear someone say " I can see the head" (I see a great anointing and the hand of God mightily upon them!)! You're "THERE" at the place of your expected end about to Mother or Father a multiplicity of visions, and the "ruwach" of God is hovering over you, even as He did, upon the face of the deep, when the world was void and without form, awaiting o hear the sound of your "breath", so that He can hasten to deliver you! You see, the fact is that, just as the "deep calleth unto the Deep", "breath" calleth out to "ruwach", and He's ever ready to respond to the summons of your panting!
