God is not Santa Clause

There is so much wrong teaching in the church about giving and blessings. Many people think all they need to do is rub a crystal ball (give $5.00) and presto, a blessing, a miracle or the thing they desire automatically comes out of a machine. God is not Santa Clause, although He is counting who is naughty or nice. During the first year of my pastorate, God stopped my in the alise of the church and said, "Teach Spiritual truth and practical application. That is what I strive to do in all my teaching.... I put this question out there, Is God Santa Clause and why has the church been so deceived?
