He Knows You By Name by Bayo Omoyiola, Jr He calls them all by name. – Psalm 147:4b (Scriptural reference: Exodus 3:4, 1 Sam 3:10, Acts 9:4, Gen 22:11, Gen 46:2, Ps 8:3, Isaiah 40:26, Ps 147:4b, Ps 139, Jeremiah 1:5) Beloved, do you know GOD knows you by name? Yes, he knows you. GOD knows the name of everything he created. Consider the number of stars he created. They are so many yet he knows the name of every one of them. If GOD could know the names of all the stars, don’t you think he could know your name (the name of a being he made in his own image)? Of course, he knows your name. He called Abraham by his name. He called Jacob by name. He called Moses by his name and called Samuel and Paul by their names. Beloved, GOD knows you. You are special to him. He knows the name of your partner. He knows everything about you. His mind is full of man. He thinks about you. He knows all your thoughts and great are his thoughts toward you. GOD told Prophet Jeremiah – before I formed you in the belly, I knew you and before you came out of the womb, I sanctified you and ordained you as a prophet to the nations (Jeremiah 1:5). Beloved, GOD knows you. Never forget he is your maker. He created you and has put the seed of your destiny in you. It is your duty to discover your purpose by consulting him if you are yet to discover it. He said – call unto me and I will show you great and mighty things that you do not know. Beloved, GOD has a lot of things he wants to show you. If you are disturbed on any issue, know that GOD invented you and that he knows your frame. He knows your strengths and weaknesses. You can trust him and rely on him to fix you up when you are down. He is your maker so you don’t have to fear. If you don’t like the name your parents named you or the name people call you, know that there is a special name GOD calls you. Check your collection of names; you will discover that there is a particular one that describes your call and destiny. GOD gave you that name. Check your bible, you will discover that GOD gives names to men and the names are symbols of their nature, callings and purpose in life. GOD named Jesus. He also named John the Baptist and named Abraham, his wife, Sarah and Isaac their son. He also named Ishmael and gave the name – Jedidiah to Solomon, King David’s son. Beloved, don’t feel dejected or alone. Know that GOD loves you and knows you personally. He knows your name. He knows your present condition and he is willing to help you out. So cheer up and know that he is GOD. He will see you through in Jesus name. Rejoice that he knows you by name and rejoice that you have known his name and that GOD has promised to set you on high. If you believe, give him a glorious and thunderous shout of hallelujah! He is worthy of our praise.
