Imagine. you have died and you are standing before God Himself. You look around and at the throne are Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Jesus eyes are full of love and compassion. He then leans over and whispers something in the ear of God. The Holy Spirit is listening also. All of a sudden you hear a trumpet sound and out of thin air appears a scroll before God. He looks at it and you stand there silently. Next, the strangest thing happens, every good, bad, indifferent thing you said, did and thought came to your mind. It is as if you relived your whole life in an instant. The next feeling you have is shame... One thing you didn't know was that God was walking and talking simultaneously to your heart as you relived your life.

He reveals to you the old man who you felt compelled to help but didn't because he smelled bad, so you laughed and went your merry way to your comfortable home, good food and hot tub never giving that old man another thought. You didn't realize it was a test. YOU FAILED!

He reveals to you the pastor who didn't drive the best car, dress the best, or didn't speak with eloquent speech. You felt compelled to listen to what he saying...your heart was tugging at you to listen but you let your arrogance and his lack to cause you to miss your blessing or answer to prayer. You didn't know that this man was a true king in God's eyes. His dress was the anointing that he wore before God. His car was the wings of the Holy Spirit where he took spiritual trips with God and covered people even your loved ones in prayers that God answered. Your pride caused you TO FAIL!

He then shows you what you could have done or could have been but you put your spouse, your networks, associations and even church folks before Him and His personal instructtion to you. His true ministry for you would have taken you worldwide, to bless the poor, the sick and needy but you allowed the "RELIGIOUS LEADERS". to influence you but all along you heard God calling you into a different place. YOU FAILED! He shows you hundreds of thousands of people who would have been saved if you were more concerned about impressing Him instead of others...

There was much more...(by the way you did receive a few rewards for areas you obeyed God but your disobedience, fear, pride and doubt caused you much more. You stand there weeping and wailing. Jesus again looks at you and says your sins are forgiven. Enter in. You are welcome to live with me for eternity.

Questions: Who or what s it that you must release. leave. or pursue to come into a place of obedience with God? Are you truly being honest with God, yourself and others? What is your true purpose and motives in Christ and the church? Are you a man pleaser or God pleaser? What must you do right now to please God and come into obedience?

This is an insightful and provocative piece. It really makes one think about his role in the Body of Christ as a
human being and as a christian. I believe as christans part of our DNA should be "helping others" , especially the least and the lost among us. As true followers of Christ, we should never be perceived of as "arrogrant", if so we are missing the boat. Regardless of how successful we may become, we should never lose the "common touch " and the ability to connect with and be sensitive to the needs of others. Jesus walked among the people, He was not a "High Priest" setting on a Thorn. One of the things that I admire about President Obama & his wife Michelle is that they stay connected to the " people". Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. walked & worked among the people. Staying close to the people, can keep you humble, I believe. I had the opportunity to know Marion Barry, former Washington, DC Mayor. He was and I believe always will be a man of the people. Despite his set backs in life, he was re-elected to Ward 8 Council some years ago, because he was always there for the people and he helped many people to become successful including Bob Johnson, of BET.

What wonderful testimonies. I too feel sorry for that ministrer and I pray that God does give another chance, because whether he realized it or not, that old stinky bum was Jesus, "And in that day many shall come unto me saying Lord when were you hungry, or naked or sick or in prison and we did not minister to you?" And Jesus said, " when you have done unto the least of these, my brethren, you have done it unto Me." You guys, I have a play to do that is about this very thing. I have been procrastinating with it becaus I didn't want to have towrite the script myself. There is another young woman who has written anawesome script about this and I have had the hardest time contacting her about getting started, but it looks as if I am going to have to do it all by myself. Nonetheless, it must needs be done, after reading you guys words today, I feel I have no other choice. Keep me in prayer as I start to write the script. Would you guys come and see it when it's completed?

What can I say God is truly speaking. This reminds me of a friend who is a minister I know who was on the bus one day while I was on the phone with him and he complain about a smelly bum on the bus. I told him you should not do that this could be your test but instead he talk so bad about the man I said I feel sorry for you.

Then the bum got off the bus my friend got off to he then transfer to another bus. Well while riding this bus the same bum was at the bus stop again and he goes up to the bus driver begging the driver to not let the bum on the bus.

I heard the driver say no you can not get on this bus and shut the door. My friend felt relief I said to him you were wrong for that and God is going to hold you accountable for what you done. He begin to try to explain how bad the smell was and that I did not understand.

Anyhow the thought came to my mind after hanging up with him was for all the knowledge he has about the bible he just might be the very one God would say to him " YOU CAN NOT GET ON THIS BUS " and shut the door on him what a lesson to be learned.

This friend has a long way to go when it comes to compassion for people we can not pick and chose our test God does that and if we fail he gives you an opportunity to take it again hopefully this friend can pass the test next time.
