The Power of Honor

Honor, what is it? Simply honor is the price or value that we put on a person or thing. The degree of honor that we show will determine our level of success. I ask that everyone who reads this blog to look at your own life. Who do you honor? Why do you honor them? Are they people who Gd will honor? Sadly we honor people for what they can do for us or their potential to bless us. There are several reasons why we should honor people and the position that he or she holds. Isn't it sad that many in America will not honor the President because he is black...but, that should not be a shock. Many of these same people do not honor God or themselves. We should, I beleive honor the following...

1. God ( Father, Son and Holy Spirit)
2. Our parents. (If you can't honor the person, honor the position they hold)
3. Ourselves, individually....( How can you love and honor others if you don't love and honor yourself?)
4. Honor your spouse, fiance or significant other
5. Honor your children
6. Honor those who God has placed in leadership over your life
7. Honor and take care of your home and property,health,wealth,future...
8. Honor your community
9. Honor strangers ( You never know who God will use to test or bless you)
10.Honor life

Dear brethren, I had a dream about honoring my pastor, my leaders and God has promised to bless me exceeding, abudantly and above of anything i could ask for or think of. I do the best I can; but I dsire to do more. Not just for what God has promised me, but because I believe in my leaders and I trust the God in them.
