Is once saved always saved?

I had a conversation in the congregation and want to hear your view,,is Once saved always saved? Now remember the story of the Prodigal Son,,he walk away from his fathers house and we walk away from the presence of GOD
ONCE saved, always saved. That is the cry so often heard from many of the pulpits today. "I can do whatever I want, as long as I have accepted Jesus as my personal Saviour. Why I could go out and mow down a crowd of people with a machine gun and if I were to die at that very moment, I would be saved." Many people believe this teaching today, but is it true? Once we have accepted Jesus as our personal Saviour, can we go on living like the world in open, rebellious sin and still be saved. Most people who believe this teaching will quote the following Bible verse as proof: "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38, 39.

Now this is a wonderful Bible promise that God has given us and it should inspire us all. But does it say once a person is born again, it is impossible for him to lose his way and be lost? In fact, is this verse talking about salvation or eternal life at all? No, this verse is clearly talking about God's unconditional love towards man, not unconditional salvation. Salvation is conditional! You might also notice that the word "sin" was not included in the list of things which are unable to separate us from the love of God.

If we continue in sin, after we have asked Jesus to be our personal Saviour, are we really in a saved relationship, are we converted? "For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins." Hebrews 10:26.

God did not create us to be robots ,,we have a will and he wont go against that,,so if a saved person persist in sinning ,,,am I hearing that it is OK because of the CROSS...if this is true then why was satan kicked out of heaven and his job is to MIMIC GOD to us so we would believe every doctrine that sounds good instead of reading it and asking for SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING and being around other SAVED saints,,who will Intercede on our behalf,,you I learned that the devil dont care about us going to church ,,he dont want us to come to JESUS ,remember he has been where we are trying to get to wich is HEAVEN,,now people can do what they want and believe as well,,BUT,,I am trying to get through the Gates,,this is why REPENTING for me is a lifestyle

SO IF I AM UNDERSTANDING YOU RIGHT YOU ARE SAYING OR TYPEING IS THAT BECAUSE YOU ARE SAVED YOU CAN SIN AND GET AWAY WITH IT BECAUSE JESUS DIE FOR OUR SIN AND WE WONT GO TO HELL REMBER THE DEVIL WAS WITH GOD AND GOT KICK OUT. YES WE ARE GOING TO MAKE MISTAKE THAT WHY WE ARE NOT PERFECT BUT WHEN I SEE JESUS THE I WILLPUT THAT GLORYFIED BODY THAT WILL BE PERFECT THIS TYPE OF TEACHING IS WHY WE HAVE LIER,ADULTOROUS ,GOSPPI ,MIND SIN ,POSTION HUNGRY IN THE CHURCH MEMBER FIGHT ING MEMBER THAT IS WHY THERE IS A WORD CALLED BACKSLIDER AND IF ONE DOESNOT REPENT HE WILL BACK SLIDE RIGHT BACK ITO HELL . A BACKLIDER IS ONE WHO WAS ONCE!!!!!!!! SAVE BUT WAS PULL BACK ITO THE WORD BY THE DEVIL. SO PRAY ON IT AND READ IT AGIAN THE WOR D AND GOD WILL OPEN YOUR EYES

but lets be mindful that GOD wont go against our will,...and some people have strong will to sin and repeat the same sin BELIEVING that Jesus got there back..that is not the Gospel that I follow..I ate from the table ,,THATS ITS HOLINESS OR HELL

busby thank for trying to be my teacher ,but bro there is no hatered here and i dont have to defend my relationship with if you read you will see that we are saying that if a save person does not repent of there sin they will go to hell . yes we are save by grace hopefully we all under stand tha Jesus died FOR OUR SIN, SO NO IT WAS NOT BECAUSE OF MY NOR YOUR WORK BUT WE ALL HAVE TO CONFESS WITH OUR MOUTH AND BELIVE IN OUR HEART THAT GOD HAS RISEN CHIRST FROM THE DEAD AND WE SHALL BE SAVE.
