POSITIONING OURSELVES FOR GOD'S BLESSINGS
Why do you live as heathens as the rest of the world? Why do you live outside of marriage and fall into the sin of fornication? Why do you gamble away your money and not give it to further My Kingdom? Why do you drink to the point of being drunk and making fools out of yourselves? Why do you not hate the sin but love the sinner? Why do you murder and shed innocent blood? Why do you murder innocent babies who cannot defend themselves? Why do you take the life of those who are sick and too old? Why do you forsake the assembling of yourselves as I have called you to do? Seek Me for a revelation of the corporate anointing and the mantel of protection when you are connected to My Body. Why are you taking Me off My throne and putting yourselves on it? Why are you not truly walking in My footsteps? Why are you going against the commands and instructions that I have left to you in My Word? Have I not said that judgment will come to the church first then to the world? I have called you to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth. This does not mean that you are to be religiously righteous and see yourselves as better than others. It means you are to become the servant of all just as I was the Servant of all and love them into My kingdom. This does not mean that you are to be legalistic and bind My people with your self-taught religious ways and rules. Be real, be honest, take off your masks and allow My children to experience Me through you. Do not try to change or manipulate anyone. I am their Holy Spirit! I am He who will bring about change. Stop pointing your fingers at others and showing them their shortcomings without first looking within yourselves and seeing your own! Do not live as the heathens of this world and go about doing whatever your flesh desires to do. Live by the guidance and leading of My Spirit. I have told you that it is time to be very sensitive to My Spirit. Stay close to Me! Be obedient to Me in all things. Many are sick in body, bound, living in lack because of the prisons of their own making. Stop giving Satan so much time and glory. Many times it is not an attack of the enemy but wrong choices that you are making. I look at the heart. Develop a very intimate relationship with Me. Take time daily to come to Me so that we can talk together and that I may refresh you, heal you and set you free. But remember too that I chastise, rebuke and correct those I love. Be faithful in all you do. Be faithful in keeping your word, your promises. Be quick to forgive if you desire to be forgiven by Me. Hold nothing against anyone. If you are hurt, rejecting and mistreated you are in good company. For I too suffered these things. Keep loving, keep forgiving and keep serving. It is in giving that you will receive. It is in obedience and right living that you will have favor with Me. What will I find you doing upon My return? Time is short. Do not miss the wonderful and awesome move of My Spirit that is taking place in My Body right now. There is power, protection and blessings in the gathering together of My Body. Repent of your disobedience, repent of your coldness, repent of your complacency, repent of your lack of wanting to be involved in the things of your God. Return to Me and I will return to you. Seek Me, seek My righteousness and ALL things will be added unto you. I am a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Me. I have blessings waiting for you that will overtake you. For those who are faithful in their walk with Me, who have been obedient in all things, I tell you that I will fill your hands overflowing so that you can be a blessing to others. The world will experience My blessings, My love, My compassion, all that I am and all that I have through you. Get ready! Be open! Be willing! And most of all obey in all things! For what I am about to do will be a glorious thing and all will know that I have truly blessed My faithful children. Choose today whom you will serve.
Psalm 128: 1- 2} Blessed ( happy, fortunate, to be envied) is everyone who fears reveres, and worships the Lord, who walks in His ways and lives according to His commandments. For you shall eat (the fruit) of the labor of your hands; happy (blessed, fortunate, enviable ) shall you be, and it shall be well with you). (amplified bible)
Many Christians today are not receiving the fullness of the blessings of the Lord. Why is that? Because many are saved and that's where it stops. They do not work daily on an intimate relationship with Christ neither are they obeying the commands (the things we need to do) and the instructions He has put in His Word for us to follow. Today's Scriptures put it very plainly what we need to be about doing if we desire to receive God's blessings. Too many of God's people today are saved yet living as the rest of the world does. God desires to bless us beyond measure. Yet there are stipulations in His word that we need to obey. Obedience and faithfulness to God are the two very important keys we need in order to have favor with God and to receive all that He has for us. When God puts something on our hearts to do, we need to do it quickly and obey. When we disobey in any way, we will miss out. We have to sow in order to reap. We have to give out in order to receive.
We can often stand in God's way of blessing us and actually refuse His blessings by our attitudes. We can short-circuit the blessings that are coming our way, but we can also short-circuit the move of the Holy Spirit in our lives. The word fear in today's Scripture mean love, trust, reverence. When we truly love God with all of our hearts we will want to do nothing to displease Him. Every word we speak, every action we take, every deed we do will be to honor and glorify God. We cannot honor Him when we live like the rest of the world. What do I mean by that? I see so many Christians today going against the Word of God by gambling away their money instead of giving it to further God's Kingdom. I see many drinking to the point of getting drunk. Many are agreeing with the lifestyles that God's word speaks against....homosexuality, fornication, and the list goes on. Many do not even want to go to church and be with the body of Christ to receive the corporate anointing and blessings God has for us. Many see a need and do not respond and go about their own business. Many walk in unforgiveness and bitterness. The list is way too long to write everything down in this sharing, but if we take the time to get into God's Word, He will bring to light some of the things we need to repent of and straighten out in our lives. The things God had me mention and so many other things that many of God's people are operating in do not honor or glorify God, it glorifies Satan's kingdom. It's time to get on track and become a true living testimony of our God and refuse to live as the heathens do.
The Hebrew word for reverence and trust is: yare...which means morally fearing, morally reverent, morally fearful and afraid. That is the problem today. Not enough people have a healthy fear of the Lord. We want to hear the loving, compassionate and merciful side of God but we do not want to hear the rebuking, correcting and judging side of God. We need to study God's Word not only to rightly divide and show ourselves approved by Him, but to also get to know every aspect of God in order to become very intimate with Him. Obedience means to walk in His ways at all times not just when we feel like it. He is so faithful to us and we need to be faithful to Him. When we do this we will have such a strong bond with God that we will walk daily in His glory and every demon from hell will run when they see us coming. When we have that kind of intimacy with God demons will not see us but they will see Christ in us. That is why Satan is working so hard in these days to seperate us from God and from one another. God desires for us to stay away from certain things as a protection....to keep us safe from things that can hurt us and eventually destory us.
We aren't to be just hearers of the word folks, we are to be doers. No matter where we go, where we are or what we do .....we should be doing it as unto the Lord. Letting His light and love shine through us. We need to discipline ourselves to walk and live as Jesus would. Many of us forget that God is watching every single thing we do and every single word we speak. What do our words and actions say to others? The Lord is trying to unite the Body of Christ for a special purpose. If we disconnect ourselves from Him or from one another then we will miss it totally. The sad part is many of us are not crucifying our flesh on a daily basis and giving in to every emotion, feeling, desire and whim that the flesh desires. We need to remember that a dead man cannot be attacked! We need to be patient, we need to sow so we can reap, and most of all we need to be faithful in persevering.
How much do we truly love God? How much do we desire His blessings and His favor? It's time to check ourselves and to see what kind of a lifestyle we are living. Are we really seeking Him and His righteousness daily? God said to do this first and then all things will be added unto us. As I've read the Word of God I've noticed that every single person in that Bible that truly laid down their lives for God, truly sought Him daily, truly submitted to His will were blessed beyond what they even expected. What will it take for the Body of Christ to get to that place? Why do we always wait for calamities to hit before we run to Him? It's time to repent of having pride, rebellion and plain disobedience from operating in our lives. It's time to rededicate ourselves to Him. Not our will but His be done in Jesus name! Make the decision today to position yourselves for God's blessings and let nothing and no one stop you! Remember also that when we walk in righteousness those around us will be convicted and we won't have to say a word. Light always reveals darkness. Remember also that the Word internalized is the enemy neutralized! God bless you, I love you, but Jesus loves you so much more than I ever could.
