What is your Expectancy Level Based on in 2011

What is your expectancy level based on?

Hebrews 6:11-12 please read.

In this scripture, Paul commends the Hebrews for their love and ministry to other believers (such as you and I), and urges us to seek with the same zeal the full assurance and development of our hope.

The reason why he told them to understand and develop their hope was so that they would not become spiritually lazy when it came to inheriting the promises of God. By developing their hope, they would be able to behave like those who, through faith and patience, were eagerly reaching out in the readiness and were receiving the fulfillment of God’s promises in their lives.

Question to ask yourself are you spiritually lazy? Where does your hope lie?

In the natural world, a person’s expectancy level is based upon their thoughts, their emotions (feelings), what they see, and what they hear. However, in the spiritual world a person’s expectancy level is not based upon what we think, see feel, or hear. God wants us to break out of the natural world. He does not want us to base our level of expectancy on ourselves or our ability to think positively. He does not even want us to base our expectancy of miracles upon our faith alone.

God wants us to have our level of expectancy based upon a Hope that is given to us which is based upon the only thing in this life that is 100 percent accurate that never changes that has never failed nor will ever fail the Written and Living Word!

Faith and hope work together: “What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainly that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead” (Hebrews 11:1). Hope helps you to focus your spiritual eyes upon the needs in your life with a sense of expectancy. Faith believes that what hope has enabled you to see will come to pass!

The word “hope” is often equated with “wishing” for something. But hope is much more than wishing. It is a powerful force God has placed within us. The Greek word for “hope” is elpis,” which means “the happy anticipation (or expectation) of good.” The word “expect” is taken from the Greek word “ekdechomai,” which means a reaching out in readiness to receive something.” The two words “hope” and “expect” together define “hope” as “a happy reaching out in readiness to receive something good.” Hope is not something which depends upon how you feel, what you think, what you hear or what you see. It is a powerful force God has placed within you which enables you to see beyond your five senses, beyond your circumstances, and reach out in readiness to receive from God the miracle you need. We are to increase and abound in hope: “May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing through the experience of your faith that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope (Romans 15:13). It is by the power of the Holy Spirit that is the key to how you are going to be able to increase your hope and raise your level of expectation.

This hope will help us stand firm: “(Now) we have this (hope) as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul it cannot slip and it cannot break down under whosever steps out upon it (a hope) that reaches farther and enters into (the very certainty of the presence) within the veil” (Hebrews 6:19).

People of God, in order for you to raise your level of expectancy, your hope, your expectation of a miracle must be firmly rooted and grounded in Jesus Christ and the Word of God. You must not look to man for a miracle, you must not look to your own level of faith, your hope and expectation must be centered on Christ the Living Word and on His completed work on Calvary. (“Glory to JESUS”). People of God, the Living Word has made it possible for you and I to have access to all the promise of God contained in the written Word. “News Flash”, God’s Word possesses the power for its own fulfillment. Once we understand that the same power which created the Heavens and the Earth is in every promise God has given to us, I have come to realize that the Word of God is the most powerful force upon the earth today. (My prayer is that you will realize it too). Its power is not limited by any circumstance you or I may face. People of God whatever circumstance you face that cannot be met by human means, if it requires a supernatural manifestation of God’s miracle power, it will be met when you release your faith and exercise the Hope God has given you, which is based on the written Word of God and the Living Word, Jesus Christ.

We are living in a time and season where we must take the limits off God, expect the impossible to happen in your life because you are a man or woman of God, standing on the Word of God and, you are operating in Obedience, Righteousness, and Holiness to receive from God the Alpha and Omega all the promises in the Written Word Of God!

Glory to Jesus, Thy Kingdom Come Thy Will Be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
