WHY does God allow us to go through pain??

You may have heard this before and then again, maybe you haven't.
I for one believe this is one of the BEST explanations/ answers to the question....

WHY does God allow us to go through pain?





A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.
As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.
They talked about so many things and various subjects.
When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said:
"I don't believe that God exists."
"Why do you say that?" asked the customer.
"Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist.
Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people?
Would there be abandoned children?
If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain.
I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things."
The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument.
The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop
Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard.
He looked dirty and unkept. The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber:
"You know what? Barbers do not exist."
"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber.
"I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"
"No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because
if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside."
"Ah, but barbers DO exist! That's what happens when people do not come to me."
"Exactly!" affirmed the customer. "That's the point! God, too, DOES exist!
That's what happens when people do not go to Him and don't look to Him for help.

That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

BE BLESSED & BE A BLESSING TO OTHERS !!!!!!! Let them know there IS a true and living God!

it is all part of the ministry
When the disciples sawe Jesus walking on top of water the Bible said that they became afraid because they though that it was a Ghost,,and a lot of times we have to get away from the cookie cutter ministry,,and use what God brought us out with ,,in other words everybody on this site has a different view or experience on how they were brought out,,your way is not my way and vice versa,,but it is STILL JESUS WALKING TOWARD US

Preaching and healing in the Gospel of Mark were not restricted to the apostles. They tell Jesus that someone is “not following us” who is performing miracles in Jesus’ name. Jesus tells them “Do not stop him; for no one who does a deed of power in my name will be able soon afterward to speak evil of me. Whoever is not against us, is for us” (Mark 9:38-40).

others have there own agenda but still performing the work of the ministry...now these people ,,there was no evidence that they were followers of the disciples or Jesus..some believe that they could have been part of the seventy that He first sent out ,,he said LEAVE THEM ALONE,,,Everybody's ministry and experience will be different because we all are different therefore our testimony will be different as well,,
and we sometimes have OBEY Jesus and just leave people who're doing the work of the Heavenly Father ALONE,,and get away from the " cookie cutter ministry"

Many times i use my experience and attach God onto them to show how God works and what he has done for me and he can do it for you. Then, i pray to God to use me in a way let's his light shine thru me.

I can relate to this because on my job it's not company policy to speak God. However, i do it in a way that people don't even know what i'm doing than say very lightly this is god or praise the lord so that they know it's gods word. Sometimes i have to use me bible teaching to bring them to a place to know that God is real and it's him who gives me the skills to help their family.

Eric I like what you said your speaking from experience and your experience is not always in the bible. When you need to encourage people and help them sometimes quoting the word does not always help people can relate when you talk experience and add to the fact that the suffering makes the bible clear.

So If your experience or anyone else's can help someone to understand their suffering according to the word then God is still getting the glory. I know the bible teaches we must suffer because Jesus did so I understand that to mean the moment I accepted him into my life the battle was on and then the more i seek to do his will the more heated it becomes.

Having a testimony is what people need to hear so what if it's not scriptural but if it's giving glory to God and someone decides to get saved because of it Amen. I believe that whatever you use let it always give glory back to the father and Eric what you said did just that for me and others who have and will read this blog. God bless.

hard time's will make you pray,,,some people wont pray until tragedy hits ,,and no it is not scripture just fact and alot of times when we're connected to the wrong people being fed the wrong things we sometimes find ourselves BY OUR SELF,,thats when we can get some alone time with the the creator in Heaven to hear his voice and seek him through worship,,do the Hebraics worship?? and do you all believe that the HolyGhost can dwell in a Person?? I do and I dont claim to be a Christian just a Believer as well as a Follower
he allows certaing things to happen so that he can bring us out,,NOTHING never happen to you and you never cried out for him for forgiveness?? you place psalms 51 by your name ,,what ever for,what did you do?? DID HE not show up and grant your request?? and the DEVIL does attack MINISTRY and the ANOINTED did you read how he attempt Yashua,and how King Herod put a contract on his life, when he was a child?,,did you not read how Saul was trying to destroy GODS/Yahwehs Anointed king David,,there was an evil spirit in the accuser's that prompt the attack have anyone ever been jealous of you? it is not only in the Christian setting but I am sure in the hebraics as well,,,it was the Jews that was jealous and conspired many attemps to lay hands on Jesus/Yahshua,,everything is not scriptured based however the believers and christains understand what I am referring to

Sometimes it's because we aren't ready to receive the truth and that can be from a variety of reasons. Some are conscious and others are unconscious depending on our bad bagguage we are carry.
