WHY does God allow us to go through pain??
You may have heard this before and then again, maybe you haven't.
I for one believe this is one of the BEST explanations/ answers to the question....
WHY does God allow us to go through pain?
A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.
As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.
They talked about so many things and various subjects.
When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said:
"I don't believe that God exists."
"Why do you say that?" asked the customer.
"Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist.
Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people?
Would there be abandoned children?
If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain.
I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things."
The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument.
The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop
Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard.
He looked dirty and unkept. The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber:
"You know what? Barbers do not exist."
"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber.
"I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"
"No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because
if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside."
"Ah, but barbers DO exist! That's what happens when people do not come to me."
"Exactly!" affirmed the customer. "That's the point! God, too, DOES exist!
That's what happens when people do not go to Him and don't look to Him for help.
That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

That was a wonderful question? We go thru pain and suffering inorder that we are going to recieve a message from God that signifying something about our true self and lessons that we need to learn. Inorder for us to know God is real and he still loves us and is for us despite all our faults and things we did inappropriately. This enables us to reach our true self the way God intended us to be.

I am not here to give the Devil NO CREDIT or PRAISE
but we put too much on him,,a Man came to me and said Brother I am under attack by the devil,,I asked are you praying ,outreaching,Fasting,meditating,reading your word,helping those in need ??he replied NO to everything,My response was YOUR NOT DOING ANYTHING FOR THE DEVIL TO ATTACK,,THE DEVIL ONLY ATTACK WHERE HE SEE'S MINISTRY OR WHERE HE SEE'S ANOINTING IN ONES FAMILY TREE AND HE WILL START THE ATTACK ON THAT FAMILY TO STOP THE BIRTH OF THAT CHILD,,the attack is from his own actions not anyone or anything ,,SELF,,It's me oh lord standing in the need of prayer not my mother nor my father let alone my sister ,,but me oh lord

Hard times will make you pray,,,and if any have not experienced it yet just keep living ,,you'll find yourself by yourself and then you will turn to the father in Heaven,,,you dont know the father till the Father is all you got!!! he allow certain things to happen so you can see who brought you out,,so we cant say that we done it,,this is why he created MAN last so that Man could not say that he created everything..Everything started from the spirit Realm First,,cant understand the Natural til you first get with the Spiritual..if the Father was to allow you to see what is going on in the spiritual,it would scare some people.But he is handling it for us

WITNESS HANSON UDOEKWERE ~ Good point. People blame God when they themselves take NO action. Faith in God requires action on our parts.

This is the true position of things, the bible is very explicit about who God is and how he relates with mankind.
God will not force anybody to himself, He said "Whoever comes unto me, I will in no wise cast away" . The problem is that people are always blaming God for what He has not done, when they themselves have not approached Him for needs.
Our Dearest God is not a magician, there are procedures to follow before getting His attention.

Moreh~ Disobedience was my entire point. How can we obey him if we don't get to know him? We can't.
Re-Ester Norman said it better than I could have :
"Many are blaming God for what man has caused due to disobedience.God told us what would happen if we would harken to his voice in Deuteronomy 28:1-14, then he told us what happens when we do not harken to his voice or obey him in verses 28;15-67."
