WHY does God allow us to go through pain??
You may have heard this before and then again, maybe you haven't.
I for one believe this is one of the BEST explanations/ answers to the question....
WHY does God allow us to go through pain?
A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.
As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.
They talked about so many things and various subjects.
When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said:
"I don't believe that God exists."
"Why do you say that?" asked the customer.
"Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist.
Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people?
Would there be abandoned children?
If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain.
I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things."
The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument.
The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop
Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard.
He looked dirty and unkept. The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber:
"You know what? Barbers do not exist."
"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber.
"I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"
"No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because
if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside."
"Ah, but barbers DO exist! That's what happens when people do not come to me."
"Exactly!" affirmed the customer. "That's the point! God, too, DOES exist!
That's what happens when people do not go to Him and don't look to Him for help.
That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

WOW I did not know that because Eric did not say where he got his information from that it was going to turn out to be this. Somethings are not worth fighting about who's right and who's wrong All I can say is i agree with Pastor bell in what he said just let it go forgive and move on.
Yahweh knows and see everything and only he knows the truth about all. A lot of times we have to take a look at what the word says the bible teaches be ye angry and sin not it also states that we should be careful about how we treat one another but it also states you reap what you sow. The question how can two men walk together accept they agree when there is no agreement you have confusion.
Somehow the focus went from giving Yahweh the glory to this. All i know the bible says God will fight our battle for it is his to fight. He is the one who exposes all things in the end you must take at look at yourself and say did i do all I can to please God. The bible teaches Patients to endure all that comes your way so Moreh be strong and encouraged because if what has been said is not true then who cares let God handle this he always vindicate his people.

Respond with purpose

Imagine the power of remaining calm and focused and resourceful when some totally unexpected, disappointing development interrupts your day. Truly, you can make the disappointments not disappointing at all.
Respond on purpose, with purpose. Feel the power and the joy as every moment gives you a way to move forward.

this is a situation where alot of emotional, mental as well as psychological bullets were flying yesterday and alot of innocent people were hit,,BUT for one to instigate and admit I cant wait for the show to start,,,him alone with that statement was wrong ,,but according to him In was the one who drew first blood,,amazing..with that said I can say innocent people was a victum of a stray bullets,,again I thankyou you all for your words of encouragement and for the Bishops to e-mail wisdom of posting with a Purpose and not allowing negative forces to get to me, I was ONLY wrong for the innocent being hit ..STILL this alone this dont make what was done right but it is a start for the Healing..I agree it was a beautiful post until the enemy wanted to see a show and I was lured in

I have moved on,repented for allowing the enemy to lure me,it was written that he could not wait to get the show started,,and that is what he did ,,he dont like the word Christian,Jesus,God at the same time he calls me a devil he dont have the power to cast me into hell,,he dont have a hell to put me in unless he is part of it himself...some things that was said that should have not been said and I apologize to BPN,,GOD got no glory out all of this,,but I received a very special e-mail last night along with others to encourage me ,but this one was different and it really was a dagger through my heart..a very special innocent person was hurt and I cant place a bandage on this,,not realizing what was going on my attack was targeting MOREH NEVER this person,,,I have made contact with my peers in NY and the are advising me to delay the trip and cut off all contacts with MOREH,,and I will be taking there advice...BUT my heart really hurts now for this person what you said was true there indeed was a better way in handling this,,,I am REALLY SORRY for hurting you will the healing ever set in?? and I am sorry to BPN as well..this is not my character,,,
