Why Sould I Give To God ?

The Apostle Paul teaches how important 'thanksgiving' is to God as he writes to the church of Corinth. In Paul's letter to the Corinthians he states, '' Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness , which causeth through us thanksgiving to God. For the administration of this service not only supplieth the wants of the wants of the saints , but is also by many thanksgiving unto God; While by the of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection into the gospel of Christ , and for your liberal distribution unto them , and unto all men...Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift ! '' ( II Corinthians 9;11-15 ) In summary , Paul was speaking to the church at Corinth about how God respects giving and the abundance of blessings they would receive as a result of their generosity .
