It was not my intention to ever be disrespectful or out of order with regard to the episcopacy. I will as not to offend you or others who might take offence remove the photo, and indulge your and others forgiveness.
I had not completed my getting dressed and preparing myself to leave my motel room for a sevice in SC, when I needed to get something out of the vehicle, and while in the process of doing that; someone asked to take my picture and I consented. This explanation is in and of itself not a justification for any bishop to disrespect the office of the episcopacy, but to put the photo in perspective.
Bishop Matthews, please forward an email address that is not on and open forum.

I pray that you are prepared for your elevation but remember when the call to elevations is at hand, there should be a two stage reaction. One should evaluate, then evolve. Socrates wrote, "A Life not examined is a life not worth living". Evaluate (which is to examine) where you are and what God has done for you to get you here. Next Evolve as nature has provided an excellent example; A living organism has to evolve or it will die. The Prelate must seek higher levels of character and spiritual intellect; once these levels are indentified, he must then adapt an insolvent mentality regression and defeat. Stay the course and be blessed.
