17 Think not that I came to destroy the law or the prophets: I came not to destroy, but to fulfil.

18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass away from the law, till all things be accomplished.

19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

What does it mean that Yeshua fulfilled the law? My sister asked an important question that I still cannot answer. Which laws are we not to do anymore? We no longer sacrifice because Yeshua was sacrificed. How is it that we know not to sacrifice but to believe that we have to adhere to the biblical diet? Is this not some of the Pharasees way putting legalism on us? Who can help me answer her?
What does it mean for Yahshua to fulfill the law?

The Greek word for fulfill means to carry out its effect, bring to perfection, bring about its realization, to be obeyed as it should be, etc.

Several of these meanings can fit into what Jesus meant here. Here is how: Jesus came to complete the sacrifices, so that it is no longer needed for priests to atone for the sins of the people. He also came to practice the law perfectly, and obey it in its original intent. The pharisees added many traditions of man to Torah, and Jesus corrected them all. Do you follow what im saying?

Which laws are we not to do anymore?

This is a question that we Messianics, and Christians should ask ourselves. The laws that both Jews & Gentiles should obey are the 10 commandments, feasts days, and Jewish dietary laws. We know that the sacrifical system is obsolete. That is done away with. By looking at the law, there are alot of things that deals with "desert wanderings", like creating fire on the sabbath, or something of that nature. The task now is going through all the laws with the holy spirit, and seeing which laws are applicable to todays Messianic Jews & Gentiles.

How is it that we know not to sacrifice but to believe that we have to adhere to the biblical diet?

The sacrificial system is different than the biblical dietary laws. I still want some lamb chops! God wants his people to enjoy healthy kingdom living, and part of that is the foods we eat. All that God commanded his people to eat were "good" animals, and for the sake of not destroying our bodies(its the temple of the spirit), we should eat according to the command of the Lord.

The pharry boys added many traditions to the Torah, and lead many astray from Torah, and to man's traditions.
