With the condition of the church today, would we dare as christians(THE BODY OF CHRIST),try to revamp the way we go about ministering, the Kingdom of God,to the lost.

Churches today as we all know,is in a state of disarray.this thought came to me after reading Brother Hancocks post,Church Hopping. So many that are new to the Kingdom, are confused, due to lack of understanding that our Father is a daily quest, not a baptism in the word and everythings ok.What if the church could agree on the importance of levels of engagement. What do i mean by this, simple,as a street minister now,we can get the unsaved to commit to change thier ways, realize they need Christ in thier lives but after we turn them toward the church, the church turns them back to the streets, due to the establishings of the different hyarchy;s in the church. What if the mentoring came in a percise and calm manner of inclusion. If the street minister can get the unsaved to a home church, which could give these individuals a companion to begin thier walk, with the basis,of what the bible means, then turn them over to a middle church, which could then, begin to give the history of the bible, whats expected, the ups and downs associated with being a christian, the challenges that begin with complete christian living. Then turn them over to a meat church, begin to explain the scriptures, research the facts, indulge them in thier questioning of the times, people, situation etc.Maybe this seems far fetched, but where we are today, nothings changing, and debate is increasing,is there really a God.If god was to come today and see the state of our church,He would show His wrath, and it would be worse than when Jesus flipped the tables of the money changers. He would crumble these mega churches, these churches with thier edgy docturine into a pile of dust. Why could;nt this work, something has to give,a new day has come, debates and degrating of each other is leading to heresey!I've seen people go to home churches due to the indifference of the so-called learned christian,le;s start a dialog, nothing happens over night,i know my grandkids, deserve a better chance of having faith all the way through thier lives instead of starting of right, then the world grabs themand sift them like wheat, come on,would we dare to agree, that more than a revival needs to take place. The leaned christian is killing the babes in christ, who;s team are we on.Isaiah33:6-AND WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE SHALL BE THE STABILITY OF THY TIMES
MATT:13:52THERFORE EVERY SCRIBE,WHICH IS INSTRUCTED UNTO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS LIKE UNTO A MAN THAT IS A HOUSEHOLDER,WHICH BRINGETH FORTH OUT OF HIS TREASURE THINGS NEW AND OLD.

There is a lot of gravity in this post
getting them saved and they're pretty much pushed back into the streets, This displays lack of teaching as well as deliverance on both behalfs Clery as well as new member,, I just spoken to a member from a Church that I use to Minister in and told me Elder we're ready to leave the pastor and I spoke and I shared somethings with concerning his incarceration and he blasted him from the pulpit!! Now I ask what would Jesus done?? This is why people rather have street ministries opposed to building Minstries,,

the Mega church and I don't get along because there is no way that that Pastor can say that he knows and has a relationship with10,000 people how can he preach ones funeral??
And you cannot tell me that money has not replaced thee Gospel
Thats my point also Brother Hancock, the fellowship has fell from the congregation.I just wonder if we as a catholic community(ALL Believers),just took a moment, stepped back and remembered we are gathering saints for the Lord, and not a building or the prestige of calling my church the best,IT ALL BELONGS TO THE LORD!
Minister QGAgnew your post is SUPERB.

We have found it more easier to deal with the people and their problems in our home church. God has given us a unique way to serve. Sometimes we prepare a huge meal and feast in the natural then we all sit down and feast on the spiritual. In doing this, we have eliminated the formalities of church and have been able to deal with the real issues of the people. When a sinner comes to church it doesn’t help him to hear the preacher talking about David killing Uriah to sleep with his wife Bathsheba, or being cursed with a curse if you don’t pay your tithes.

People need to know how can Jesus free me from this stuff I’m involved in or why are my children so out of control. They need to feel the love of God covering them when they cry at night or how to be delivered from the many strongholds that consume them. It is not enough to say not all churches ignore these issues when we all know that they are few and far between. Many churches have opted to ignore the needs of the people but to fleece them for their money. I have seen so many church casualties that I could write a book on the dead and wounded BACKSLIDEN SOULS.

We seem to focus too much on covering sins and not enough on helping people get deliverance from sin. If you ask those that are bound, they would tell you that they’d rather be delivered than covered. I have heard people talking about the demon activity in their homes that are a result of their bondage and we as saints seem to run from these issues and tell these people to take a spiritual aspirin and call me in the morning. That doesn’t help that person. We need to get real or get off the ship. We need to take off our church hats and suits and meet people where they are.

Many times those who are not saved don’t like what they see in the churches and make a joke of it. But when you have a street preacher, a Church Home or a mere talking head for Christ, we can keep it real with how we deal with the people. When love is needed that can be applied or when you need to speak a little stronger to a young man aligning himself with selling drugs you can tell it like it is and bring him back to reality.

My husband and I are aligning ourselves to take this show on the road (figure of speech) to be able to impact more young people quickly. If God has it in his will to give us a building then so be it, but until then the gospel must effectively reach those that are lost. We don’t have time to play church and I would suggest to anyone who is doing so to STOP. AMEN AND AMEN.
God Bless your Home Church, you and your husband as well. The work being done on your level, can;t be measured.Letting people see you eat with them, pray with them, cry with them, then read the Word with them,is as close to laying on of hands, then anything i could imagine. And( WHEN) God shifts you guys into a different arena, the seeds you guys have planted will carry on,its so many saints that just want to share what the Lord, has given them,The role model your church has been will multiply,if it already have;nt.
MAY THE LORD ALMIGHTY BLESS YOU GUY'S WITH ALL OF YOUR WISHES FOR THE KINGDOM,
NOTHING MORE,
NOTHING LESS,
NOTHING ELSE,
AMEM!!
Minister Agnew, Your post brings up good points that should be addressed by churches that have these problems, my problem is that why do saints have a bad experience with ONE or TWO churches, or see mega churches on TV and then state ALL churches have a problem? or the majority of churches have problems?

THE DEVIL IS A LIAR AND A DECEIVER! and it is heresy and hear me HERESY , for one calling themselve a child of God to speak against what God has established. IT'S WRONG.
Sister, sister, you and i have spoken in faith many times, the devil is a liar, correct. The reason people try to group all churches is because its easier,to have the spirit of the world, which is full of confusion and strife,I would just like to see,the love of God raining down on all levels. We as the vessels of hope, need to remember,a house divided ,will not stand, finding remedies for what we know can be made better, shows the fruit of this tree,we call christianity. The lost is our goal, the judgements are the LORD! Never let them see you sweat, your faith covers all.
God Bless!!
James 5:7

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

We as saints have to be longsuffering (one of the fruits of the Spirit)I understand, some will not all throw up their hands and walk out , (I find this prevalent with our younger generations) however somebody has to stay to help correct the problems on the front line.
My point exactly, patience is a virtue, and those on the front line could be more effective if they knew what level of spirituality, the convert was.If a newcomer is frustrated with what they hear in the beginning of the tranformation they are more likely to walk out.Babes should be treated as babes, children as children, adults as adults. This is about helping the saints remain,i;m not talking about any churches in particular.
And also we have to let go of this attitude that they are saved, so now they can't do this or do that. Come on church, they just came to the Altar last week.

Amen Rev. Luckett
So then this is my question? If we agree that it starts in the leadership of churches, and 5 or 6 weeks isn;t enough time to introduce the Godly life, ups and downs,If churches were more united, why couldn;t Rev L. send his new converts to Ministers A;s church,to get the bare knuckles, this is were we begin in this walk, then send them back to Rev L,for complete grooming, questions and answers etc.;then send them to Evangelist A.F;s church for the decision making process of how will you serve now.My point is theres no cooperation, and truth being spoken between the churches, every church can;t continue to go back to the O.T.,everytime newcomers arrive,it runs away those that are hungry for more.Again i;m not putting down any church just trying to ask, doesn;t it make since to put a kindergardener,in the kindergarden, highschooler,in highschool etc.A defined, placement for the learning of the word. All it takes is cooperation of churches.Because if I knew were to send my new converts,I would instead of just saying GO TO CHURCH!
I get your point here, and I think the problem comes in when people are looked at like property rather than souls. I heard one pastor say that another pastor was trying to steal his members. The people need to be looked at as souls that need nurturing and less like pew stuffing. Just as brother Hancock stated, how can a Pastor truly know the needs of his flock when he has 10,000 plus members. I think it becomes less about the flock and more about other things. How can a new convert be successfully trained if no one wants the task. When I first got saved, I was ten years old and the mothers dealt with all the heavy hitting issues of our time. Our young people were taught about all sorts of things that I don't see being covered today.

I know some churches still have new convert classes but many don't make the time and thus you see the results of that. More and more people are becoming spiritually ill or dying completely.
This is true brother Luckett. I think what you are saying is that the hunger and thirst for righteousness must begin with the individual (new convert) We can not force anything on them.

On the other hand, what if you have an individual that has a true thirst but the ministry that he or she has been birthed into is not up to the task, don't know how to deal with an individual situation or they simply don't care. I have seen this happen.

Case in point:

My husband is dealing with a brother right now that God has lead to us through his spirit. We have not known him long but are willing to allow the Lord to minister life to this brother through us. This brother's scenario is a very typical scenario and can easily be dealt with if the individual is up to the task. This young man got saved and has really been trying to be delivered from some things. He fell with a young woman that called herself a Christian and said that she laid a trap for him. By his own words, he said that she presented herself to him as a women who he thought was saved but she turned out to be something else (I won't get into the details) Him being a new convert and she being an established Christian, he felt like he was getting tricked.

He then started going to another church in his area and when he got there he said he saw young women not fully clothed and this bothered him and he felt his only recourse was to leave the church all together. He is dealing with a stronghold that is difficult to break if he goes to Churches and the sisters are there to fuel his desires. Now this brother has expressed to my husband that he is sincere in wanting to be saved but can't return to the church to avoid temptation. He is in a state of not knowing what to do.

Our prayer is that God gives us the proper guidance to give him. But I must say, when churches don't give full scale teaching, (teaching women how to dress) We can kill a new convert before they can even get their feet in the door good.

He has asked for prayer and spiritual guidance and he truly wants deliverance.
