"In view of the trends of life, it is good to empower ourselves, if meaning is to come out of this life.
I do not know much about its implications in your mind, and your spirit; because this could set your life in a new lifestyle.
As The MIND influences the body and the SPIRIT influences the soul of man; I pray that we live definite lives soon!
Limitations are many; but I will choose from a personal experience; of a limitation Called poverty. It has lagged me behind for so long, but I am so soon out of it! Praise The LORD!
I would like writers and readers to let me know what they think about this roaring lion, which has crippled many whom I see around me, many I have interacted with and I hope not you too!
They live indefinite lives, they feel laid low of them selves, they are “naturally cheated” and need a lot to catch up, they are limited to speak or share what they see, hear or know.
It makes them forgotten, lost and unknown
Oh...oh...Poverty!
One may think they do not have business ideas/plans...because they always seem to be idle,
Yet they try a lot and fail a lot!
One person can agree with me that poverty has left us unable to achieve!
It has touched our mouths, shuttered our minds and we are stuck in JAM!...unable to take a further step, many times.
It delays us to reach our destinies till we die!
Nevertheless, we can also agree that the poor can rise up!
Yes they can. They also have dreams, Visions and great encounters with life, nature and God!
Challenge is there, as an obstacle, “we have been terrorized, so we shun down our ego, strengths with in and we recoil to our selves and keep quite”
But till when?
Dear reader; Comment please.

BUT what is Poverty?
Poverty is the shortage of common things such as food, clothing, shelter and safe drinking water, all of which determine the quality of life. It may also include the lack of access to opportunities such as education and employment which aid the escape from poverty and/or allow one to enjoy the respect of fellow citizens. According to Mollie Orshansky who developed the poverty measurements used by the U.S. government, "to be poor is to be deprived of those goods and services and pleasures which others around us take for granted."
Poverty may affect individuals or groups, and is not confined to the developing nations; where it seems to smell so profusely! Poverty in developed countries is manifest in a set of social problems including homelessness and the persistence of "ghetto" housing clusters...like the ones in Mulago; where I live!
Poverty in Africa is considered to have increased for the majority of people in the present era of structural adjustment programmes. In terms
of absolute numbers, poor people constitute 61% of the population, while 30% constitute the absolute poor...I wish you come to Uganda soon, like in the upcoming world Christian conference! www.tinfscare.ning.com/group/kampala You could just reason more, about what I am trying to bring out! ( this conference also came to me as a vision and being poor, I feared a lot till when God helped me realize it is all about him, not my self!)
For now, I have to be precise and short.
For the poor,
You must know that You are the one to do all it takes to get out! Try all your effort; and trust God. As you try, things may not work out; but Wait on the Lord, keep saying and believing that The struggle is almost over. Know that You are right at the edge of a breakout. Because of your patience and your diligence to stay ON THE WHEEL the Lord is going to do the unimaginable in your life. Things are about to manifest in your life that you never thought would happen and people have said it wouldn't or you couldn't. But GOD SAYS ...YES! It's yours, YES! You can do it, YES! You will.
Do not allow yourself, nor the enemy to cause you to become downcast or discouraged. Some would say and preach that being poor is a curse and due to sin in the life of the individual or nation. But listen to the heart of Jesus; Matthew 11:5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.
Check Mark 12:42-44
And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.
And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:
For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want (lack) did cast in all that she had, even all her living.
See Mark 14:7 7 For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always.
Look at Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
Have you ever seen Luke 6:20 And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.
Check on Luke 14:13 But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:
Enjoy Corinthians 6:10 As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
See 2 Corinthians 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
Do not forget to read James 2:5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
The LORD has much love for those that are poor...the poor are no less important to God than the richest of men. But those that are rich in this world are commanded by God, not suggested, but commanded to help the poor.
One more scripture; in the book of Proverbs 30:8-9 Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:
Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.
That’s just biblical! You see?
Although you may not be as privileged as others, but as long as your relationship with the LORD is solid, you have greater riches than you know. Poverty and lack is a real fact, not only in Africa, but also in the U.S.
Just keep on doing all you can, trusting God and living for him. Let him be proud of you, let Him be your friend!
Remember the words of Paul: "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee".
Hebrews 13:5, Read verse 6 also.
God has not forgotten you, nor those that are with you. Remember, the LORD loves to do much with little, and He loves to confound the things that are mighty with the things that are weak. I believe that the refreshing rain of His Spirit is soon to pour over you, if you believe!
Do not let Satan joke around you, just because of limitations.
Oh how Satan loves to mess with our minds, especially when we are stuck, due to limitations!
But our capabilities and our God-given talents do not lie in the realm of the physical, they are unable to be bought or sold, and therefore they cannot be taken away from you. So use them, and do so in the confidence that God Almighty has chosen YOU to carry them... what a privilege and what an honor! Do not worry what people will think..."Who are they? Why should we pay any attention to them?..." for God will use the foolish to confound the wise! Do not take offense to the term foolish for the WISDOM of God is FOOLISHNESS to the world for they are blind and their minds cannot receive it. God will use those less fortunate to do great and mighty things - BELIEVE IT - in this way He is sure to receive the glory, for those more fortunate would try to steal the glory for themselves. Take heart and rise up in boldness, for God has called you for such a time as this!
Do not question God as to why you are like what you are! “Why did you create me like this, or to pass through this?”
God is the creator. He had the capacity to create, destroy, allow, and do all as He pleases. Remember it is enough that you have life. He made us not as puppets, keeping us from making wrong decisions, but allowing us to choose our own paths. At times, we make the wrong decisions, which cause us pain or hardship down the road. At other times, we are simply victims of the bad decisions of others. In either case, God allows only the things, which can be used to make us better at the talents and abilities He has given us to grow The Kingdom.
An encourager cannot encourage others if he has never been discouraged. A person cannot have empathy for the poor unless he has been poor. Statistics show that the poor are more charitable than the wealthy. Why is this? The wealthy have no idea how difficult it is for the poor to rise above their station in life. If you have always had more than enough, you do not know the fear, pain, and discouragement of someone who has never had enough. Few who are wealthy will receive salvation because they believe they have no need of God.
Our lives are not easy. We struggle with resentment, unanswered questions, and the overwhelming tiredness of constantly working just to tread water. Maybe it is time to say, "I am tired Father. I have not the energy or the desire to continue. I give you all my fears, my anger at being born in this place of poverty, and my frustrations at being unable to accomplish what you would have me to." Know that the Father will give you what you need if you will only let go of your feelings of unworthiness, doubt, and anger. God knows what you need because you have always asked (prayed)
Now, go believing you have what you've asked for. Do not allow Satan to cause doubt by telling you that you are not worthy. None of us are. Our Father provides for two reasons. He loves us. He promised He would.
When you awake, say to yourself, "I have everything I need for today because my Father loves me and He promised to provide for me."
I know that; I know that I know. There is no room for doubt when you ask( pray)!

For the Rich.
You may one day meet someone shouting at you “Why do you neglect the poor and live as though they never exist? We may not require your financial support; but we feel good hanging around with you LOL!!!! What if you shared anyway, what would you lose?”
But....how do we reach that height, of such great wealth? By our selves? By sacrificing to the gods like many have done? Visiting the devil? By cheating the poor? or by God's grace/will? ....I will not answer this. I am not yet there.
By the way, do you have a mansion. or mansions, yet some people in your neighborhood live in the trench?.... where dirty water...(stanching)...flows? Have you ever tried to help them? Or “that’s not your fault that they are like that”.
What if it turned out around. ...and they were you and you were them?
That's why Jesus said; LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOU LOVE YOUR SELF!
Remember this story, in Luke 16:19-28
There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
.....It won't be long...WE WILL BE LEAVING HERE!
Thanks to you who always help out the helpless.
Those who have been asleep, it is time to wake up!
The afflictions that are seen in the present are light and temporal compared to the things seen in the future magnitude of eternal weight of glory.
2Cor. 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
On some level we are all richer than others, sometimes not so much in monetary ways but definitely in material ways, even in environmental ways.
We may be in areas that flow with resources and we scounder them for ourselves and for those who can PAY US for it as though we created it ourselves, and it was not God's doing. I know many of us have different attitudes/perceptions or responses to this but "You can make an impact on this world for the better or you can make excuses, but you can't make both!"
I know some of us are guilty of being self centered, at least to some extent. We are even guilty of this on a spiritual level as well. Those who are rich in Christ often avoid those who do not believe, leaving them to face their fiery fate. Why not get involved, why not at least TRY? Why are we creatures who are so self-centered that as long as we are taken care of ... to "heck" with the rest of the world?
..That “ at least I am safe!”
I pray we wake up and remember that we are one. Not only in Christ but in God almighty, the creator!..LOL!!!

Why should I not conclude?
Personally, as a would be poor man( because I am now rich in God), I purposed to make money by all Christian means possible by doing any casual jobs available and do my dancing, piano playing, buying and selling food stuff since I was 17, So that God will be proud of me. I am still struggling a lot but I know God is always looking at the best I try/do and He blesses the labour of our hands.
I have not given up on what God has put on my minds or placed in my way while I live this life.
I know somehow somewhere I am so confused and have not seen everything very well; But to those that I consciously perceive from Him, I have tried to uphold. I pray that He will forgive me for when I have not been the best steward.
I know there is a reward ahead. Come let’s serve together!
Remember in Isaiah 64:4 for since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.
Psalms 27:13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
Psalms 27:14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
I have lots of issues to solve here, and there....I really have to work so hard and I need to keep on. It is not easy living the life of poverty with lots of dreams and visions...and added responsibilities. But in all; God is there!...the reason I always pray and hope on.
Let us keep in high spirits.
May today there be peace with in,
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be and doing what he wills for you.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be confident knowing you are a child of God. Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love...
Bless you.
