3-Days of Prayer and Fasting

Greetings To All:

I believe the power of fasting as it relates to prayer is the spiritual atomic bomb that our Lord has given us to destroy the strongholds of evil and usher in a great revival and spiritual harvest in a believers life.

God impressed upon me to pray and fast for:
3 days Aug, 12-14 2009 from 6pm-6am.

The objective of this fast is for spiritual renewal, for guidance, for healing, for the resolution of problems, for special grace to handle a difficult situation. Ask the Holy Spirit to clarify His leading for these objectives for this fast. This will enable you to pray more specifically and strategically.

Please send me your most immediate prayer request as I seek God for deliverance in all areas of need and Miracles will happen with signs and wonders.

Congratulations Min Shazetta, we pray that the Lord will bless your marriage. You are in the spring season of marriage, take this time to study and learn God's plan for marriage, spring is when love is fresh and new and it is good time to sow. Invest time and treasure to sow the Word in your marriage.Then when the heat of the summer season of your relationship comes everything that you sowed in spring will come up. I say to all of you couples who are in ministry and trying to hold your marriage together that "Your Marriage is Your Ministry." God requires that we get it right at home first and then go into all the world and preach the gospel (and use words if you have too). If you get it right at home, you won't need a lot of words, your marriage and life will be your message. I found out that is the way He wants us to do it, by example!

Please check out www.urbanministries.com/marriage. for a Bible based marriage curriculum specifically for African American couples. Published by Urban Ministries (UMI); the largest, Christian, African American publisher in the country. It has directions for a marriage retreat, 8 weeks of communication training and curriculum for small marriage enrichment groups for 12 months. It is all included in the 'For Christian Lovers Only Kit" There is a Leader's guide and participant workbooks. It is very reasonably priced. We use the small groups for outreach into the community - We have set up lead couples who pull together groups of their friends, family, neighbors and co-workers. They meet in the homes. A well planned retreat at a nice resort and an 8 week training on communication can attract unsaved couples who are looking for help for their marriages if advertised well. Each couple in your church knows unsaved couples that they can invite. Cover it with prayer and wisdom that the Lord will give and we know from experience that it can work. Blessings to you.
