WHAT EVERY MINISTER NEEDS IS A FRESH VISION

"The vision of God always brings the revelation of the utter worthlessness of self, an indispensable prerequisite to effective service for God." - Unger's Commentary on the Old Testament

"Those are fittest to be employed for God who are low in their own eyes and are made deeply sensible of their own weakness and unworthiness." - Matthew Henry

In Exodus 33:20, the Lord God spoke to Moses and said - "...Thou canst not see My face: for there shall no man see Me, and… Continue

Judges 16:22 "Howbeit the hair of his head began to grow again

after he was shaven."

When a person breaks a Nazarite vow, he can start all over again

keeping it and be restored in his vow. That is what is symbolized by

the hair growing, again. He has gone back into covenant with God. The

hair symbolizes the presence of the Nazarite vow. His strength would

come back, because he is filled with the power of God again.

Judges 16:23 Then the lords of the… Continue

MY Testmony

In the fall of 1989 at Magee Women's Hospital in Pittsburgh PA, Brendon was born. He weighted 1 lb 12 oz. He was an extremely small baby. A few days after birth, Brendon had emergency surgery to close a valve in his heart. This valve usually closes on it's own after birth. Because Brendon was so small, he was unable to tolerate food in his stomach. When the doctors decided it was time for Brendon to begin to eat, part of his intestine died and he had to have the dead part of his intestine… Continue

Powerful Christianity

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends fo the earth. Acts 1:8 NIV

Being Spirit filled is not limited to one particular brand of Christianity. Spirit-filled people are found in every church and denomination. They are people who understand the need for the power of the Holy Ghost within them so they won't live a weak, defeated life.

Are you Discouraged?

If you are a Christian and you are suffering with an illness of some kind be encouraged. God has not forsaken you. I know it may feel like it but He hasn’t. I have received great comfort from Psalm 13, a Psalm of David. This Psalm has taught me that one of the major problems with suffering is dealing with anger and bitter feelings towards God Himself. We have been taught the new wave message of “positive confession”, but what God really desires from… Continue

IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD YOU WILL FIND YOUR GOLD

"The happiness of those that love God, and devote themselves to His service, is substantial and satisfactory." "Spiritual and eternal things are the only real and substantial things." - Matthew Henry

Notes and outline inspired from Dr. John MacArthur (Grace To You)

It was Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. that said “I don’t know what the future holds, but I know who holds the future”.

Here is an outline of the book of Revelation.

BIBLICAL HOPE, A FIRM CERTAINTY:

BIBLE MEDITATION:

Psalm 71:5 - "For Thou art my hope, O Lord God: Thou art my trust from my

youth."

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:

What does the word "hope" mean in the Bible? It doesn't mean "maybe." We may

use it that way in Modern English, but that's not what the word "hope" means in

the Bible. "Hope" means certainty, but not just any certainty. It is rock-ribbed

assurance with anticipation based on the Word of God. When I was a little boy,

my dad would… Continue

Should Christians Celebrate Christmas?

Introduction

"Should Christians celebrate Christmas?" or, "How should a Christian celebrate Christmas?" These are questions of concern for many sincere believers. In fact, many believers dislike the season and have refused to celebrate it at all. A number of reasons are given, and while I might agree with some of their concerns and some of the reasons offered against the observance of Christmas, I would not necessarily agree with their conclusions.

One day I happened to catch a TV… Continue
