America's New Destiney, The Church Better Get Ready

After witnessing the swearing in of America's first African American President. I recall the words of the former Secretary of Education Bill Benett when he spoke after Obama, won the election. "African Americans can no longer say, "that the man is keeping us down, for now the we are the man. The mind set of can't do and excuses are over and the glass ceiling has been broken." (paraphrased)

We face troubling times but the church should not be surprised for we have prayed over the years for God to have his way upon the earth. We can glean from scripture that before God makes a provision there is a season of shaking things up. The world economy is on the brink, wars and threats abound, no God is not coming, not just yet, he has one more great revival and it comes now, but Church are you ready?

The most racist time in America occurs not in individual homes but in our churches every Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
We have for to long been establishing separate kingdoms on the earth and not the kingdom of God. We have mega-churches, cable and t.v ministries that reaches millions. We have every pastor with a lap top writing books, but Church are you ready?

We must take the locks and dismiss the guards of our store houses and empty them so that the Lord can replenish them. I am sick and tired of the lie and mind set that good stewardship refers to getting the money and not using it. This is not God's system. Good stewardship is managing where the money goes, Church are you ready?

We have many people in the nation and around globe that need of help that only the church can give, not just prayers but financial and physical support, we need to have people touching, hugging and looking into the eyes of the broken and the hurting. Church are you ready?

We need to follow the examples of the first church, we must drop the banner of Christian, this term divides us more than unites, and use the mantle of Believer's. Our stewardship is not to be based on look and see what we got, no that is the mindset of Ananias and his wife Sapphira. We can no longer allow pew potatoe saints, block God's vision, for they must "get right or be left behind." Church are you ready?

My grandfather was a former share cropper and I know the pains of living in the South during the troubling sixty's, but he had hope and he brought into a dream. The dream is now left up to others but as for the church it is time to embrace the hurting in America and around the globe. God has inserted his plow and now it is time to plant the seeds of revivial. Remember God allows a shake up before he mounts a rescue. The provision has already been made, so it is time to act.

My fellow co-laborers of Gospel of Jesus Christ, we can no longer set by in our own private kingdoms, but it is time for us to reach across the racial and denominational divide for we must build upon the foundation of Christ and carry out that Great Comission, to tell the good news, to bapitize in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, doing so through out the land. God did not give us hardship he gave us an excellent oppportunity to carry out his mandate. Church are you ready?

Continue!! Oh man of God, again I have enjoyed your blog. Amen. It is time for us to arise, take up our beds, and be more efficient in the things/our path in/of God.
