I am sorry the the other thread was closed down for replies but as Sister Williams said:

***"...Deborah did, for she was in a position of leadership..."

So is Hillary Clinton. But she can't lead men in the church.
-------

***"...Priscilla did, for she along with her husband, was in a position of leadership..."

That was not a formal setting. They were discussing the Lord and indeed explaining for his benefit surely, but it was not a church service. I don't see where they were having services.
------

***"...Can a woman teach a man? A wife does. She teaches him who she is, and what the two can learn from each other. She teaches him how to love her from the inside out...."

Not in a formal setting - like during church services.
As far as a wife teaching her man how to love her from the inside out and the top down - wonderful -Have at it!
---------

***"...Ministry is leadership, pastoring or not..."

Really? Because a person ministers to you - that means they are your leader?
Wow - tell that to Jesus.
Speaking of the women at the cross the bible says----> (Who also, when He (Jesus) was in Galilee, followed him, and ministered unto Him;) and many other women which came up with Him unto Jerusalem.
Do you really believe they were preaching to Jesus or teaching Him ANYTHING?

To minister means to be a servant, attendant, domestic, to serve, wait upon. Ministering can be serving the congregation by leading them but not in every case.
There are scriptures all day long on how the women in the Body of Christ were are to minister.
It even tells women that they are allowed to teach but with peramiters.

"Newview, you only speak of one part of ministry. Since it is true that not all male preachers are gifted for "men's ministry" type of stuff, so to it speaks for female preachers..."

Are you saying that there are 'men' that are gifted for "women's" ministry type of stuff?
I did not indicate that at all, you did. However, if you wanted to play that trap, then why not play along.....

JESUS was a man that secure with His manhood, and I know for a fact that He was able to speak to women on "women's ministry stuff". Can you dispute that? Even so, He trained His disciples in all areas.
"I did not indicate that at all, you did..."

Oh I misunderstood. What were you indicating?
I plainly said what I meant. Not all male Ministers are meant for "men's ministry", likewise, not all women Ministers are to stick to talking with females.
Oh - now I understand.
Calm down.
what are men ministries as oppose to women ministries?
Good question....
HahHah! What do you mean good question?
She was asking you. I never brought up women or men's ministry.
Women's ministry is defined by Titus 2:3-5--
The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; that they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

An old deacon at my church used the sandwiching scriptures once to define men's ministry (Titus 2:1,2,6)--
But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience. Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.
"...Women's ministry is defined by Titus 2:3-5--

That's scripture and it's beautiful and it's what God called them to do...
But some women are not interested in that - they DESIRE to do what men are called to do.
Its all twisted and knarled.
Well Niewview, this addresses AGED WOMEN AND MEN, what about theyouthful women and men's ministries?

See this is what happens when scriptures are taken out of concept, these scriptures are to those that are seasoned saints, not the young. You left them out completely.
Honestly, there's no scripture in the Torah talking about women's ministry. I do not see anything wrong with women preaching the Gospel, or holding a church. Why? because Pastors and Bishops are NOT Levite Priests. Women cannot become Priests because Torah states that it is the sons of Aaron that are to be Priests. I am overly fascinated by women WHO CAN ACTUALLY TEACH THE WORD OF YAHUAH IN ALL TRUTH!
