I now understand more and more about this so-call world of "Hip-Hop". I understand now why "Hip-Hop"has really no place in our churches and yet it's slowly creeping in our church doors. After hearing all of this, I will stand behind fellow clergy members by NOT allowing "Hip-Hop" into our churches.

Pastors,Ministers and Church Leaders, would you allow "Hip-Hop" in your churches? Is this a way in keeping our youth in church? I am interested in all feedback concerning this issue.

You dodge nearly all of my questions, then you answer the easiest one with a question.
Because that is what he does. he cannot answer serious questions that require him to think outside his religious stance. Issue is though that now is arguement has changed. He now says its ok to do hip hop so long as it does not sound like or use Snoop, or Jay-Z. or the like. The problem is that he has not said that before until yesterday. he forgets or hopes that those of us who have been debating with him will forget or have forgotten his stance was not this in the beginning, and while he wants undying respect (which is the biggest joke) he shows his disrespect by attempting to prey on what he believes (or rather hopes) is our short attention span, and lack of intelligence. And this man is a pastor? Sorry he sounds like a hireling to me;
it sad when you be going hard to prove each other wrong stop wasting your time debating on what right and what wrong and pray about it. It alot of lost souls out there why focus on one gift that you dont understand. we all part of one body if you the legs stop trying to understand what the hands are doing. As long it bring folks to the lord that all your concern should be is it bring folks to the Lord if yes now it our Job as a body to keep them there. It doesnt matter how good u preach or how great your bible game is. where the love at. love going to get people to stay.I encourage all my brothers and sister who doing kingdom business. Stay focus!!!!!!
Brother Hunter,

You guys are really funny...lol...any answer I give you would only be "extrapolated" into something else...is this your strategy to win me over to your side? tell me has Hip Hop driven those conditions out of the Church that you Pastor?
WE DONT HAVE HIP HOP IN OUR CHRUCH BUT MY BROTHER DO HIP HOP ON THE DOWN LOW BUT THE PASTER KNOWS WHAT MY BROTHER IS DOING YOU CANT FOOL THE PASTER LOL
I FEEL THAT HIP HOP IS OK THAT,S IF.... IT SOUNDS HOLY AND HELP TO BRING SOULS TO CHRIST BECAUSE SOME HIP HOP I CAN,T UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY ARE SAYING AND I CAN FEEL WHEN GOD IS NOT IN IT BECAUSE SOUND OF THE KIDS BE DANCING WORLDLY TO IT BECAUSE THEY LIKE THE BEAT AND THE WAY IT IS PUT TOGETHER .I AM A SONG WRITER AND I KNOW JESUS IS HAPPY WHEN WE BRING SOULS TO HIM AND HE IS SAD WHEN WE DO NOTHING HE THAT WINNETH SOUL IS WISE.
that what i was telling our brothers and sister in Christ before it context will tell u if it's of God or not
My Mother was a song writer; I remember the days when she sat at the Piano, took out a pencil and chart and wrote he own music and the lyrics; every show that we gave sold out mostly by young people! If we can do this without being saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost; how much more should we able to do now that we are saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost?

I believe that the Body of Christ is capable of doing it right and there is no excuse for the body to: look, act, walk and talk like the world in order to win the world.

And win we SING UNTO THE LORD THAT NEW SONG; we won't have to call it Hip Hop! I believe; The Lord will give us a name for that tune!

We are called to be that Bold Moral Contrast to the world! The light that shines in the midst of darkness not blend in with the darkness!

Pastor Hodge
And now he returns to his original argument. Wow Tarik it only took less than 24 hours for you to return to your original argument.
I hear you so if the problem the name meaning hip hop then folks should say that. I agree it might not be for everyone but folks shouldn't be close minded on things they don't understand. Even if we called it Gospel Rap folks still going to call it hip hop
Brothers,

The same argument that you make about my position being that of a "closed mind" or "lack of understanding" is the same argument that I could make about your position.

You have a right to your position and you should allow me the same right to have my position; do you agree with that?

however regardless of what our position is on the subject; it is a fact that "Hip Hop" is a "registered Religion" with its own god, its own order...why on earth would I want that in church that God made me a watchman over?

As Pastors we are Watchmen on the wall! when the devil comes no matter the desquise we are supposed to sound the alarm! lol...brothers the alarm is blarring in our face at what point do we take out the sword and cut off the devils head?

Peace and Love to you!

No one, not one person here has stated or said that you need to change your position, the fact of the matter is that you have argued things that are either not provable, foolish, or simply so thick as to bring about the argument in the first place (ex: stripper poles in the church, and comparing that somehow to Holy Hip Hop.)

however regardless of what our position is on the subject; it is a fact that "Hip Hop" is a "registered Religion" with its own god, its own order...why on earth would I want that in church that God made me a watchman over?

Once again you say that hip hop is a religion,
1. Who said that?
2. Does this person speak for everyone involved in hip hop? (because sir, if the person you assign that quote to, does not speak for all, then your statement that hip hop is a “registered religion” falls flat on its face… no one with any ounce of intelligence would be able to say that it is if the person speaking does not in fact speak for everyone.) And do tell how does one "register" a religion? Is there an office in DC where you fill out some kind of paperwork... I am just asking
3. We have been saying and continue to say that there is a DIFFERENCE between secular hip hop and Holy Hip Hop your problem is that you are so closed minded that you either cannot or are too blinded by religion to see that difference.
4. What you do in your church is your business, if you want to preach from the ceiling be my guest, however in some of your statements you demonize those who would allow Holy Hip Hop in their churches, this is as wrong as wearing two left shoes. You say that everyone is entitled to their opinion the issue here Tarik is that while you say that they are, when they do not agree with YOUR convictions, you wish to demonize, that my friend is wrong.
5. You seem to not have an issue calling the Koran which is far from holy, holy, why would anyone call such a demonically inspired book, holy? Such a watchman on the wall and yet you still hold fast to some trappings of Islam, including your name, on your church’s website you do not give your full name, yet here you do, why is that?

Why would you cut his head off Tarik?, That is not YOUR job, besides Christ did that at Calvary He does not need nor require you to redo what He already did…..
