We thank God for the unadulterated Word Of God!  As we expound on the daily Scriptures, we will attempt to analyze each Verse, so that we can get a full (better) understanding of what God is saying to us.  In these studies, we will not have any heated debates or arguments.  We all have different opinions, so let us respect what one another has to say because even though my opinion may differ from yours, each Scripture has various meanings, but the same concept or idea, which may mean the same thing, so our opinions doesn't necessarily mean that any of them are wrong; I think that we should be optimistic in knowing that whatever we have to say could very well be the truth, so I would love for each of you to voice what's in your minds and your hearts with the utmost respect to God the Father & our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit... and also to each other.  So let us share our Knowledge and enlighten each other as we walk through God's Word...Let us make this special time Spiritual, enjoyable and a fun exploration.  Thank you all so much and I pray that you enjoy this time with God and be Blessed in the Word, daily!  Love & Peace, ~EarthAngel~

The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham:

There are four gospels with a different emphasis in each.

   Matthew wrote to the Jews,
   Mark to the Romans,
   Luke to the Gentiles, and
   John to everyone.

There are extensive quotations from the Old Testament in Matthew, more than in any other gospel.

Matthew began his book with a presentation of the ancestry of Jesus Christ.  (1:1-17) because of its strategic argument for the Messiah. Matthew presented the genealogy of Joseph, and Luke presented the genealogy of Mary.  (Lu 3) Thus, we have both a legal line and the blood line of Jesus.  Matthew proved that Jesus had the legal right to the throne of David. He had the the judicial and prophetic right to the throne. (2 Sa 7:8-18; Ps 89:20-37)

Philippians 3:18

"For many walk of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ."

Verses 18 and 19 discuss the enemies of the cross. The chapter closes like it began, "Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the mutilation." (3:2) To be forewarned is to be forearmed.

For many walk of whom I have told you often

In verse 17 Paul encouraged the Philippians to mark out those who are mature. Mature believers live on earth as if they were already in heaven. (v.20) Now by graphic contrast he sets forth the flip side–those who detract from growth. The negative crowd we run with, influences our values.

This is a major problem for teenagers who are in the "identity crisis." They gain their identity from what others in their group think about them. Teens are vulnerable to the crowd. When they are by themselves they seem to be fine. When they run with the crowd that is another story. They are easily led. Group pressure sweeps them along in values they would not otherwise hold. If they get into the right crowd where they can see living, flesh and blood, examples of those who walk with the Lord, the impact will be for good.

Paul reminded the Philippians many times of those who would detract from their lives. He told them "often." Paul employed "redundancy" as a valuable device. Leadership takes responsibility to constantly warn their followers of danger.

PRINCIPLE: Good leadership identifies negative influences and structures countervailing principles into the people they lead.

APPLICATION: As a leader in your home, do you forewarn your family about negative influences? Peer pressure cannot transcend fifteen years of values inculcated into the life. If our teens are secure enough in themselves that they can stand against the crowd, they have reached a maturity beyond most. If we are to build teens who are independent of social pressure, we need to communicate biblical convictions at a young age. We need many young men and women who, like Daniel, dare to stand alone.

Wow, what an awesome report! My oh my, I can relate to everything that you've said here my Sister, especially about the part of being hard headed because I was one stubborn Cookie LOL! For some strange reason, I was led to share a Testimony that I have on another Site and it reflects what you've just spoken Sister Sandra. This Testimony that I'm posting is about "Inner Beauty" and it's something that I struggled with most of my life because I never thought that I was pretty and I always looked down on myself and never thought that I was good enough, until ONE DAY...Glory To God!!! Jesus changed my life and set me FREE, in Jesus' Precious Name!

I'm a member of another Site that's called "TRUE Beauty" and I have a Group on there that's called ~INNER~ *Beauty, so this is where I have placed one of my Testimonies, so I copied it to share with you and anyone else that it might benefit. God is so good and He works in every area of our lives, to nurture, teach, discipline, love and protect. I truly thank God for Wisdom now, which was so far fetched when I was a child/young adult/grown up and even after I became grown, I was still messed up and oh BUT GOD!!! I thank Him for deliverance and he is sooooo goooood!!! I hope that the Testimony that I'm enclosing below, will be a Blessing to whomever reads it and also a way of escape from bondage, through Jesus Christ! Love ya much! ~EA~

AN EXCERPT OF MY TESTIMONY FROM "TRUE BEAUTY" SOCIAL NETWORK...ENJOY!

~*BEAUTY STARTS FROM THE INSIDE OUT*~
Thanks all of you for stopping by and feel free to join the Group if you wish. My main concern and the reason that I was led to create this group is to get the message across, especially to the young women, that there's more to life than outside appearances! Take it from an expert; I've been down that path and when I was younger, I thought my looks could get me anywhere, including getting any man that I wanted and you know what? It worked! I dated a number of guys and even took the time to get married to someone that I did not love and needless to say, it did not last very long.
Then I went on to live a flamboyant lifestyle, flirting with the guys and just having a good time, but one day I looked around and I had no one. (my story reflects the story below) I could have settled down with a nice guy and there were a number of guys that were really in love with me, but I rejected them, because I was too busy trying to prove that I could get anybody that I wanted and anything that I wanted, but low and behold, my empire crumbled. I had the looks and I had the body, so therefore, I was unstoppable!
When I look back on my life now, I was so selfish and so ignorant to a lot of things! I could have been married to the man of my dreams today, if I had not been so selfish. In my arrogance, I hurt a number of people and I regret it to this day. I was not a hateful person, in fact, I was just the opposite! Everybody thought that I was the nicest person in the world, in which I was, but I just wanted what I wanted and I knew I had the looks to get and control everything that I wanted in life.
When I became an adult, everything started to change; I still had the looks, but life somehow became more meaningful and the outside thing (looks) just wasn't as prevalent as it was when I was much younger. I finally started to realize that there was more to life than just looks and I had missed out on a lot, just because I didn't take the time to stop and smell the roses.
Then when I accepted God in my life, that's when my whole world began to change. I started to see things in a whole new perspective. He taught me that beauty is on the inside....The beauty of the Soul, which radiates to the outer most being! That's real beauty and when you put God first in your life, believe me, He will allow you to grow old gracefully and I'm living proof of that! I'm 56 years young and I don't look a day over 30..That's God!
To those of you who are thinking about getting Boob Jobs, Booty Jobs, or whatever kind of Job you want to get.... "Think Before You Leap!" Cosmetic Surgeons may tell you that they can make you more beautiful and they will tell you that, just to get your money, bottom line! I'm not against Cosmetic Surgeons and there is a dire need for them, for instance; people that have been in accidents, or if it's a life or death situation. I'm all for that, because there are excellent Surgeons out there. But, for the benefit of mutilating your body to change your appearance, I don't go along with that. No. 1 We all were made in the image of God and He said to present your bodies, a living sacrifice, Holy and acceptable unto God and when we alter our bodies in any way, He is not pleased, so therefore, we grieve the Holy Spirit! He made you just the way you are and if He had wanted you to look a different way, He would have made you someone else, but you are who you are and nothing can change that, so start loving yourself, because "You Are So Beautiful In His Sight!"
Start loving yourself for who you are, because you were fearfully and wonderfully made! Concentrate on what's on the inside, because there's nothing that can surpass inner beauty! It's OK to look good, but don't let that be your main focus and by all means, please don't let it dominate your life! Before you even think about altering your body, go behind the scenes and see what's happening. Go on the Internet and find the stories behind Cosmetic Surgery, you would be shocked and amazed! Suppose something goes wrong with the surgery. (you might say "This or that can't happen to me) and guess what? They said the same thing...the ones that didn't come through it OK. If you make it through it OK, later in life it's going to come back to haunt you. So all I'm saying is, don't try to be somebody else or something that you're not; just be yourself and you'll live a happier, healthier and wholesome life.
I created this Group because I'm sure there's someone out there that can relate to the same things that I went through. I started this Group because I want to get the word out to young people, to let them know that it's more to life than how you look and what name brand clothes that you want to wear. One day those looks will fade, then what will you have? Beauty starts from the inside out and the sooner you learn that, the better off you will be. Or, you can just go on through life, thinking that outer looks will get you everywhere. True, it will get you to a lot of places, but somewhere down the line it will come to a screeching halt! Start working on the inner you in developing your mind and your soul. So bottom line, I would like for this to be a support Group of people coming together to find solutions and alternatives to certain problems or issues that we all face in our physical bodies and also in our lives. Now, I will leave this with you my friends: Outer beauty is only skin deep! Put God ahead of everything that you do; you will be a much better person and your "True Beauty" will resonate......
"From The Inside Out!"
Love and Peace!

I found this story and I just wanted to share it with all of you. I hope that you will take what she says to heart. When I look at this woman, she has no makeup on, no fancy jewelry or fine clothes, but she is truly a "Beautiful Woman!"

EunSuk Ji Photo: S. Peters The point is that inner beauty is more important than outside beauty. So, if we make the effort to make our minds beautiful, we'll be happier.

Inner Beauty is the Real Beauty

EunSuk Ji (Jenny) from Korea

When I was young, I read many kinds of books, including fairy tales. Most of the books described heroes who were handsome and heroines who were beautiful. So, I believed I had to be beautiful if I wanted to become a great person. It was a hard time for me. Whenever I looked at someone who was more beautiful than me, I was stressed.

As I grew up, I began to realize outer beauty was not so important to make someone good. I remember a friend of mine who was so beautiful that every classmate wanted to talk with her, but she was very arrogant.

She believed that she could do everything she wanted because she was so beautiful, but she lost friends one by one. My poor friend! But she learned a good lesson: inner beauty is more important than outer beauty. After she learned that, she changed her attitude and made friends again. In the Korean version of the story Cinderella, there are two stepsisters. One was very beautiful and very kind. Another was very stingy and bad. Because the prince wanted to find the girl with a missing shoe, the prince and the beautiful sister of the two stepsisters got married and lived happily ever after.

In many novels and fairy tales, as in Cinderella, the main characters are usually beautiful or handsome. Beauty is representative of good deeds and kindness.

In our society, beauty also gives us many advantages such as having a good social life, making friends, getting a job, and getting a promotion. Whenever, we look at good-looking guys and girls, we usually form stereotypes. We think he or she is a good and kind person. This is why cosmetic surgery is so popular in our society.

Whenever I see TV advertisements, I feel that these things make us believe beauty is very important--especially physical attractiveness. Although we say that inner beauty is more valuable, we often look to plastic surgery to make us more beautiful. There seems to be a boom in plastic surgery. It is surprising to realize the number of people who try it is increasing day by day.

It is true that attractive people get a job easily. For example, we know good-looking guys usually get higher scores on job interviews. So, what is real beauty? I want to say that inner beauty is the real one because if someone has beauty in his soul, he looks like a really beautiful person.

The beauty looked at with eyes doesn't last forever. Instead of concentrating on outer beauty, we should concentrate on inner beauty. The point is that inner beauty is more important than outside beauty. So, if we make the effort to make our minds beautiful, we'll be happier.

~*DICTIONARY MEANING OF BEAUTY*~
Beauty is a characteristic of a person, place, object, or idea that provides a perceptual experience of pleasure, meaning, or satisfaction. Beauty is studied as part of aesthetics, sociology, social psychology, and culture. As a cultural creation, beauty has been extremely commercialized. An "ideal beauty" is an entity which is admired, or possesses features widely attributed to beauty in a particular culture.
The experience of "beauty" often involves the interpretation of some entity as being in balance and harmony with nature, which may lead to feelings of attraction and emotional well-being. Because this is a subjective experience, it is often said that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder." In its most profound sense, beauty may engender a salient experience of positive reflection about the meaning of one's own existence. A subject of beauty is anything that resonates with personal meaning.

~ Too rarely do most of us focus on our real inner beauty and our inner strengths. Do you recall watching, "boy meets girl" movies? As the boy and the girl struggled through thick and thin, you hoped and prayed the whole time that everything would work out. He went to war, she left home, he came back, she was gone, he found her, her brother told him to get lost, she told him to get lost, and all the time you hoped that they would live happily ever after. ~

~ The most important thing I teach my kids is that you can't put your value in looks. Presence is based upon magnitude. You can pretend to have an air about you but it is quickly deflated, but you cannot deflate presence. Presence walks into a room and surroundsdemand it, it takes it. It can come from a smile. Like I said, love makes you beautiful. What is beautiful radiates and fills anything that’s in that room without trying to. ~

'Stop telling God how big your storm is. Instead, tell the storm how big your God is!'

"Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle"

This is a awsome revelation of the actual intent and character of satan.
First thing I noticed is that he is a clever; and almost on the university level DECEIVER.
He has a talent for mixing truth with lies and is masterful at minamizing the effects or outcome of the very thing he is trying to persuade you to do.
Secound is his huge sense of his own self imporatnce. HIs Ego is exteamly massive. He knew who Christ was but some how still presumed himself to be worthy to challenge His authority and person.
Third his goal has not change.“I will ascend to heaven. I will raise my throne above the stars of God. I will sit enthroned on the mount of the assembly, on the uttermost heights of the sacred mountain. I will ascend above the tops of the mountains. I will make myself like the Most High” He is still trying to gain worship for himself although he is not worthy of it. He continues to try and buy it from people through covet means. Worship me, not for who I am; but for what I can give you. And unfortuantely many people have brought into this type of bargaing. What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?
Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? Unlike God who is Blessed forever. We worship him because he created and loved and served and died and justifed and rose and made all things new. Hallalujah! But the devil is still with that same old " bow down to me and i'll give you a kingdom. Then when your not looking l'll Take it back. But we say like Job, Thou he slay me yet will I praise him. Cause its not about things but LOVE this is a concept NEVER mentioned in around or near anything having to do with satan. Nope nowhere in the scriputures has it ever said satan loved anybody but his own beauty. So it is with his temptations they all seem to be in line with his selfish character. So whenever i encounter a voice that's telling me to compromise my conscience, you can bet it's satans voice, usally for some self seeking pourpoese.
Brother James that is so true and I was just talking to my Son-In-Law this morning & he was telling me about a Young Athlete who had just signed with this team for millions of dollars. It's OK to get paid but so many times the majority of us forget where our help comes from! If if wasn't for God, he wouldn't have the millions, so this is another way that satan sets us up; he makes it look good and enticing, then the moment something happens, their whole world comes crashing down, why? Because they don't have their priorities straight...they don't believe or trust in God as their main source of existence! So many people get caught up in material things and things of this world but they don't realize that just as easily as they got it, it can be taken away. That's why we have to be thankful for what God has given us and don't go off the deep end with a big fat ego trip! So many times people think they don't need God because they have everything that they want in life and they can take care of themselves & they don't think they need God or anybody else for that matter. You see, that's what satan does, he sets you up for a big let down. That's all it is, it's a set up! All that glitters ain't Gold and even we as Christians get caught up! We have the money, fortune and fame but often times forget where we came from! What good will all of this stuff be when you stand before the Lord? What will you say when He asks you: Who did you feed? Who did you clothe? Who did you provide Shelter for? Who did you lend a helping hand to? It's so easy to get caught up because satan puts the blinders on and our vision is blurred! That's why I thank God for these lessons because they are so enlightening and they will definitely keep you on your toes! I pray for my Brothers and Sisters and I Pray that they know God and not get caught up!!! Step back each and every day and take self inventory. Don't let satan rock your world because I guarantee you, it won't be an easy ride! Blessings, ~EA~
Our Father who art in Heaven.

Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come.

Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

In the above four sentences, Jesus teaches us here to establish in our minds who and where God is and that we desire our hearts to be filled with the willingness to do His will here on this earth.

Give us this day our daily bread.

We ask that God give us what we need to sustain our life here.

And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.

This is a very important part of the prayer as it asks for forgiveness based upon our ability to forgive others. Please consider this closely.

Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.

Here we ask God to do what He will always do if it is our hearts desire.

Bottom line is this. Our prayers should always be that we are seeking to know and follow God’s will. God is all knowing past, present and future. Our prayers for anything other than complete acceptance of God’s plan and gratitude for his Love for us are futile and will bear no fruit. Do we really believe that as we pray we can change God’s mind about anything?

When we accept God’s plan for us completely, we then know his Peace and Love.

When we try to put our will on to God we live a life full of disappointments.

Many people struggle with "their calling" their gifts and talents. I like this account of "calling the called" if you will, because it shows us that Jesus meets you and calls you out from and into that which you do while you are really almost already doing it. It isn't rocket science,it doesn't take a great deal of introspect or surveys. These men where fishermen. Trained in their craft to know all of the ins and outs of the fishing business. Jesus simply "called" them out from the boat from fishing for fish on the sea's to train them further in people. How to catch souls. They were already prepared in terms of their current livilihood. Jesus had awesome influence, because their are very few people that will allow anyone to take them from their family and livilihood. Risking failure and finacial ruin to take a chance on the unknown is almost a miracle within itself. Great faith, radical faith,as this lesson highlights. Thankyou.
