what is true biblical protocol for ordination?  Some ministries say it mst be done by laying on of hands by people who know you.  Others say God ordains at birth and you need  no ordination'  There are online sites that will ordain for a smll fee.  There are ministers and ministries that will ordain for as much as $100 or if you promise your tithe to them. Each man is right in his own eyes.  Comments please.

There is nothing as didactic as a written procedure for ordination. We know from biblical examples that leaders were ordained for ministry through the laying on of hands by the presbytery (Acts 13:3, 14:23; 1Tim 4:14), but there are no detailed descriptions of the ceremonies.

Scripture does show us that ordaining leaders was a responsibility given to the church (e.g., Tit 1:5). The prophets and early leaders in Jerusalem may have been ordained solely by God (see Jer 1:5), but by the time the church appears, God is also using human vessels to impart ordination.
Yes ordaining a MINISTER is biblical protocol, first you must have Chairman,Secretary, and a Catechiser in place, while laymen on hand a minister must receive the Majority of favor with other ministers on site,a candidate must be examined on his/her (1) conversion,(2) call to ministry,(3) education and training,(4) familiaration of tenets and polity,(5)knowledge of ecclesiastical history and christian doctrines,AND FINALLY A MOTION FROM THE RECOMMENDATION FROM HIS/HER CHURCH to complete the ordaination....
