Rhetorical question? :) I never had a problem with a pastor accepting money from me and cashing it quite quickly I might add. But if I had an issue like I did previously and needed encouragement and prayer and support and called them and left many messages on their voice mails, emails sent and still waiting for most of them to respond. But let me send them a check and watch just how fast they cashed it.

Mat 6:21 for where thy treasure is, there will thy heart be also.

Why I am very careful and will test every spirit when giving Gods money too, just cause it looks like a pastor and sounds like a pastor and dresses like a pastor be on guard for it could be a Saul and not a David. A pastor I thought sheppard's the flock in "pasturing" the sheep to nurture them with God's Word and to minister to them in equipping us to be able to sustain during this short season while journeying on this earth as pilgrims and aliens. To look to the things eternal than the things that are temporal to get the bride prepared through the cleansing of His Word to be accepted and justified and blameless for the Bride Groom. To be taught through preaching and teaching the Good News of Jesus the Christ that we were made righteous through the righteous one to spend eternity with Him that was made as a sacrifice for all who shed His precious redeeming blood for us all who repent of our sins and become in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour. Thought the 'pastor" was to guide us and lead us and illuminate our minds and our eyes of the mysteries of God which brings us closer to the only one in the heavens and the earth who has all power and authority and Lo that He's with us always to not just be blessed but to bless the nations and spread the Good News of the free gift of salvation to all.

So I thought!
Thats actually not a clear cut question. It all depends. Most will run to the ever-righteous answer "my phone is open for you to express your feelings, brother" type of answer, but lets get deep and real here:

-when you are calling me to talk about the SAME OLD SAD STORY that I already gave you advice on before (which you obviously rejected), then I will more than likely be wondering "where's my $1000 check person?"

-if you're calling to say that your problem is another Pastor, but the truth is you're in rebellion, then I will more than likely be wondering "where's my $1000 check person?"

-If I have a real need for that check (bills, missions, ect.), but your problem is "pray that I get money to go on that cruise", then I will more than likely be wondering "where's my $1000 check person?"
