Lets see.... Torah does not condemn Man for having long hair, or locks, but the New Testament, and Paul---a Torah-observant Hebrew, condemns Man for having long hair... is there a contradiction? of course not. Paul was dealing with Greek culture there. They viewed hair differently then we do. for example. A woman with long hair, uncovered, was a sexual attraction in Greek culture. You should research the cultural context behind 1 cor 11. Torah & New Testament AGREES
Should a man have long hair and work in the church?
Let us see the answer( the attempt) of the emeritus false teacher James Pierce:
“Paul was dealing with Greek culture there. They viewed hair differently then we do. for example. A woman with long hair, uncovered, was a sexual attraction in Greek culture. You should research the cultural context behind 1 cor 11. Torah & New Testament AGREES”
Brother Pierce, let me teach you that “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work”.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
This is what Brother Paul truly said:
"14Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him… (1 Corinthians 11:14)
Please, do not try to distort the word of God in order to defend your Torah, your traditions.
Please, do not do that!
Please, do not try to distort the word of God for your own destruction!
Indeed, “the very nature of things” is not the Greek Culture.
Moreover Bro. Paul said:
"If anyone wants to be contentious about this, we have no other practice—nor do the churches of God".
1 1 Corinthians 11:16
That statement of Bro. Paul concerns THE CHURCHES OF GOD and not the Greeks only.
Brother Pierce, you are a false teacher. Why not stop poisoning people on the black preaching Network?
Why not?
It would be wise for you to do so!
If Bro. Paul were here he would have told you this:
“You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. 2I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard? 3Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort? 4Have you suffered so much for nothing—if it really was for nothing? 5Does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you because you observe the law, or because you believe what you heard?”
Galatians 3:1-5
Yes, “You foolish Torah keepers!
You foolish Sabbath keepers!
You foolish zealous for the law!
Who has bewitched you?
Please, tell me!
« Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of the disciples a yoke that neither we nor our fathers have been able to bear? No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are."
Acts 15:10-11
Do you understand MATTHEW 7: 21-23 well ?
What is the will of the Father of Jesus Christ who is in heaven?
We must let Jesus Christ Himself answer this question:
"For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day."
John 6:40
Is Jesus Christ speaking about Torah keeping here?
The Torah is duality. You made a contradictory statement. You use Galatians, which says we are no longer under Torah, yet you turn around and say murder, stealing, and lying(which ARE Torah), is burned on our hearts. Which is it gonna be?
Let me enlightend you on something. Torah contained the blessing & the curse. When Paul said that we are not under this school master.... which part of Torah was he referring to?
Paul himself said that we UPHOLD TORAH(Romans 3:31). So, obedience to Torah is still a must, less Yeshua would tell you to depart from him for being torahless(Matt 7:21-23). Yeshua himself upheld Torah, and even said he came to fulfill it(Matt 5:17).
Yeshua also whoever teaches people to disobey Torah, they will be called least in the kingdom, but whoever teaches it, and does so correctly, will be called Great in the kingdom. Also, Torah is apart of the new covenant decrees(Jeremiah 31:31-34 & Hebrews 8:8-12)
I think what you are missing is that no one is saying that we don't observe or keep the law in Christ. WE are NOT however bound to it because of Christ.
Matt 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light
Why do you think that was said?
The schoolmaster said in judgement that you steal, you lose a hand, an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.
Matt 5:38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
Not in Christ, we have been redeemed,
39
But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
this is not literally, I know, however it is depicting, how the love of Christ goes that extra mile, that the schoolmaster could not.
no one is doing away with the schoolmaster, but it's graduation time, we have to say goodbye

NO ONE was ever bound to Torah. Again, Torah was never bondage.
Matt 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light
Why do you think that was said?
The Pharisees were promoting TRADITIONS OF MEN, rather than the written word. The Pharisees made the Torah a burden, and difficult to carry out. That is why Yeshua said his burden is light, and yoke is easy. When we follow Yeshua, he would show us the GREAT way to keep Torah.

This agrees with Torah, as it is dealing with monetary issues, and not what you may THINK it means. Yeshua taught us how to truly love, and he taught it VIA TORAH. There was NO other way he taught this. Yeshua was JEWISH, and that means he spoke, taught, thought, and lived JEWISH. Guess how he taught others? lol. Evan, if you really do not know Torah, then its best to get a good understanding by studying Torah, before you assume your NT biasness within it.
He won't get it Evang Fugett, he don't believe Jesus came to die for his sins and rose again, its like beating a dead horse, will a horse respond if its dead, No.
