With the condition of the church today, would we dare as christians(THE BODY OF CHRIST),try to revamp the way we go about ministering, the Kingdom of God,to the lost.

Churches today as we all know,is in a state of disarray.this thought came to me after reading Brother Hancocks post,Church Hopping. So many that are new to the Kingdom, are confused, due to lack of understanding that our Father is a daily quest, not a baptism in the word and everythings ok.What if the church could agree on the importance of levels of engagement. What do i mean by this, simple,as a street minister now,we can get the unsaved to commit to change thier ways, realize they need Christ in thier lives but after we turn them toward the church, the church turns them back to the streets, due to the establishings of the different hyarchy;s in the church. What if the mentoring came in a percise and calm manner of inclusion. If the street minister can get the unsaved to a home church, which could give these individuals a companion to begin thier walk, with the basis,of what the bible means, then turn them over to a middle church, which could then, begin to give the history of the bible, whats expected, the ups and downs associated with being a christian, the challenges that begin with complete christian living. Then turn them over to a meat church, begin to explain the scriptures, research the facts, indulge them in thier questioning of the times, people, situation etc.Maybe this seems far fetched, but where we are today, nothings changing, and debate is increasing,is there really a God.If god was to come today and see the state of our church,He would show His wrath, and it would be worse than when Jesus flipped the tables of the money changers. He would crumble these mega churches, these churches with thier edgy docturine into a pile of dust. Why could;nt this work, something has to give,a new day has come, debates and degrating of each other is leading to heresey!I've seen people go to home churches due to the indifference of the so-called learned christian,le;s start a dialog, nothing happens over night,i know my grandkids, deserve a better chance of having faith all the way through thier lives instead of starting of right, then the world grabs themand sift them like wheat, come on,would we dare to agree, that more than a revival needs to take place. The leaned christian is killing the babes in christ, who;s team are we on.Isaiah33:6-AND WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE SHALL BE THE STABILITY OF THY TIMES
MATT:13:52THERFORE EVERY SCRIBE,WHICH IS INSTRUCTED UNTO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS LIKE UNTO A MAN THAT IS A HOUSEHOLDER,WHICH BRINGETH FORTH OUT OF HIS TREASURE THINGS NEW AND OLD.

I think another point to this post was concerning how we handle new converts as a church institution. It is not just the aspect of giving a baby meat instead of milk but also the mishandling of the baby. There is not a lot of churches that are pushing away babes with overtaxing them with rules and regulations but rather not meeting expectations to those that require a certain amount of help or deliverance. Also, when someone is truly seeking God then they have certain expectations for church leadership.

Case in Point:

A good friend of ours is an assistant Pastor at a church in Detroit where the pastors son as well as a couple of other brothers have received the same appointment. Our brother told us that a family joined their church and had only been saved a short time. They were invited by family members that already had fellowship with the church. Well, their church had a musician that was a homosexual and it was known and not addressed by the pastor. This musician approached the husband of the couple that had just gotten saved and asked him out to dinner and wanted to get to know him better. This brother being a new convert, felt that this was inappropriate behavior and approached the pastor about it. He expressed as a man first, that this was out of order and he didn't expect this at a church. To make a long story short, the pastor did nothing because you know how it is, churches want to keep the music playing at any cost. This brother was deeply offended and he and his whole family left the church.

Now, this is another point I believe the brother was trying to make, in that the church has to be careful that we are not running the new converts away with our contrary ways. Souls are more important than music playing. I think the musician should have been properly reprimanded by this pastor and maybe this family would not have felt the need to remove themselves from this church after just getting saved.
Minister Agnew, We as mature saints have to understand, those that labor among us, there are babes that come that have different needs. Some babes need to be walk with a ways to their destinations, some can be told where to go and they will go, and then some , we are to train them up in the way that they should go and placed in the hands of God trusting HIS word they will not depart.

Now this training is those things that are of the Word, YOUR OPINIONS AND TRADITIONS, do not come into the picture.

It's like Saul trying to put his armor on David. Yes, the leader should structure teaching in his church, that is wise, however learning is a personal issue, and babes do that at different rates, and that must be understood.

We do not snatch someones head off if they don't grasp right away an issue, but with meekness and longsuffering( I know some don't like that word) we purpose to restore them
The Holy Spirit does not keep them, it leads and guides, The Word keeps

2Peter 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
All these points are great,we can;t force anyohe unless thier ready on thier own accord.I by no means is saying apply my thoughts are doctrine to anyone. My point was to start the conversation that when babes tell me thier not understanding coming straight from the streets,i feel they were thrusted into a level they were;nt ready for yet.I personally don;t care which way they go in thier walk,i just dont want them to walk away. The misconseption is my way is best,no,my way might be different, but it;s all for the Kingdoms sake, not mine.Conversation brings change,I want to change the application, not the word,i;m just a cog in this picture,no offense meant. It hurts me to see you or me bring one in only to see them later.berating, the love of God due to overload.
amen and dont be pull in cliqechs this is a great post i have been bless Minster Q
Thanks Pastor ,for encouragement, this all came from 1Cor.chapter 12,after decerning the chapter, this hit me.Verse 6,says it all,AND THERE ARE DIVERSITIES OF OPERATIONS,BUT IT IS THE SAME GOD WHICH WORKETH ALL IN ALL.
God Bless!!
keep allowing God to use you

I remember a young lady that came to church one day, a word pierced her heart and she began to dance for she received strength(joy) from that word. A sister came and scolded her that she was dancing worldly and there was nothing to her, I thank God for the wisdom of another sister that came and told me that I danced the way I knew how, and to keep on dancing and God would teach me a new step. I'm still dancing, I thank God for that sister everyday.
