So very true, he is......

What people fail to recognize is that pawns, when they finally cross over the threshold of the other side after its turn movements, they can grow up to be:

queens- the most mobile, most powerful piece on the board; this piece can decimate a board before it is cornered, and even will take a major piece with them in their demise.

knights- a versatile piece, able to attack corners where others are bared and banned, and with the same agility, able to escape after the attack.

Rooks- strong and blunt, this piece moves forward at all times, threatening all in its path. It possesses the ability to protect the true prize with one sweeping, controversial, and seemingly impossible move, standing in the way of oncoming onslaught, taking the bullet for the "powers that be" (castling with the king).

Bishops- Being that the game of Chess was created in the 15th Century, this piece was depicted as moving "crookedly" across the board of this political warfare, protecting the king at all costs. Often times, it is viewed as the most powerful piece to be considered for sacrificed FIRST in the warfare, and yet serves so well.

Still think a pawn is insignificant? It has the potential to grow up to be more than just a fustrating board blocker, but a blunt warrior sting in to take the fall for the power behind the scenes (Rook), a piece that centers itself for worship with crooked movements (Bishop), an agile defender of the faith, be it the side of light or of darkness (knight), or a feared leader, the second in command of the army be it the side of light or darkness (queen). Theoretically, when a pawn travels uninhibited, it take 8 moves to make this transition to major power.

1 year down, seven more to go. Lets see what this Presidential pawn grows to be...........
Thanks Bro. Trevor for this insight. I never knew how to play the game of chess until just now. But more importantly, your insight has cautioned me to be more watchful with discernment.
