Is The Trinity Biblical?
From the Christian Research Institute
www.equip.org
The Trinity is a basic doctrine of orthodox Christianity. Yet the word "Trinity" is not found anywhere in the Bible. Is the doctrine of the Trinity really biblical?
The doctrine of the Trinity says that there is one All Mighty One (God) who exists eternally as three distinct persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I can assure you that the elements of this doctrine are all taken directly from the Bible.
The first plank of the Trinitarian platform is that there is only one All Mighty One (God). The Bible could not be more explicit on this point, which it states explicitly about two dozen times. In Isaiah 44:8 Yahweh (The LORD) says that even He does not know of any other (mighty ones)gods!
Yahshua (Jesus) often spoke of the All Mighty One (God) as His Father, and the apostles frequently spoke of "the Almighty One (God) the Father." But the New Testament also insists that Yahshua (Jesus) is The Almighty One (God). For example, Thomas acknowledged Yahshua (Jesus) as, "My Lord(master) and my Almighty One (God)" (John 20:28), and both Peter and Paul spoke of Yahshua (Jesus) as "our All Mighty One (God) and Savior" (2 Pet. 1:1; Tit. 2:13). Yet the New Testament also makes the distinction between the Father and the Son as two very different persons. In fact they tell us that they love one another, speak to each other, and seek to glorify each other (e.g., John 17: 1-26).
The Old Testament refers often to the Holy Spirit as The Almighty One (God) at work in the world, without distinction from the Father. But Yahshua (Jesus) in John 14 to 16 explained that this Holy Spirit would be sent by the Father at the Messiah’s (Christ's) request. The Holy Spirit would teach and guide the disciples, not speaking on His own initiative, but speaking on the Messiah’s 9Christ's) behalf and glorifying The messiah (Christ). Thus, the Holy Spirit is revealed by The Messiah (Christ) to be a third person distinct from the Father and distinct from the Son.
In short, the doctrine of the Trinity is completely and totally biblical, and it is essential that all the Followers of the Messiah Yahshua (Christians) give assent to this doctrine.

Hez,

Can you find in the scriptures where it shows that black people descend from Shem's line?
can someone define...BLACK?

Is it a pure race... no mixin with any others? or is it just skin color?

Aren't most "black" Americans mixed with a bunch of other races (either by force or choice)? If so, then what of their descent from those other races?

Just asking some simple questions.

(wow... and it seems this discussion has gotten WAYYYY of the Trinity) LOL

(going back to my corner)
Anthony,

Im still waiting til you define it ;)
No we are not. We follow the Bible. They follow the imagination of their heart.
There is no Trinity

There is the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost is the messenger Angel Gabriel. An angel is not a God.
God in three persons, blessed trinity," is not scriptural.

But there is ONE GOD, ONE PERSON with three major titles:

-FATHER of all, who is over all

-SON, through all

-HOLY Spirit, in all.

YAHSHUA THE MESSIAH (JESUS) IS THE ONE TRUE GOD, YAHWEH ALMIGHTY, THE LORD OF THE OLD TESTAMENT, THE HEAVENLY FATHER!

There is ONE GOD, ONE PERSON, and there is also ONE BAPTISM. Not two but ONE BAPTISM.

“One Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all”.

Ephesians 4:5-6

Now let us read Matthew 28:19:

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”.

What is the NAME (singular) of the FATHER and the SON and the HOLY SPIRIT?

Brother, let me remind you of something.

Indeed, Jesus told His disciples:

"I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. 13But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come”.

John 16:12-13

“But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth…”

Brother the Holy Spirit has revealed to the Apostles the NAME (singular) of the FATHER and the SON and the HOLY SPIRIT.

Let us see:

“Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit”.

Acts 2:38

The NAME (singular) of the FATHER and the SON and the HOLY SPIRIT is JESUS CHRIST.

Truly speaking, “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other NAME under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
Acts 4:12

That NAME (singular) under heaven given to men by which we must be saved is JESUS CHRIST.

Truly speaking, “All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his NAME."
Acts 10:43

That NAME (singular) given to men through which they receive forgiveness of sins is JESUS CHRIST.
Truly speaking, Jesus said to the Father: "I have revealed your NAME to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word.
John 17:6

That NAME (singular) of the Father is JESUS CHRIST.

This is the reason why brother Paul said:

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him”.

Colossians 3:17

WHATEVER YOU DO, WETHER IN WORD OR DEED, DO IT IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS.

See, here, Lord Jesus is THE NAME, whereas Father is simply a Title.

Isn’t water baptism a deed?

If it is a deed, then the Bible says “WHATEVER YOU DO, WETHER IN WORD OR DEED, DO IT IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS”.

Why do you want to do everything in the Name of Jesus Christ but exclude water baptism?

Why do you make such a restriction?

It is simply because you have not yet received the revelation about the NAME (singular) of the FATHER and the SON and the HOLY SPIRIT (Matthew 28:19).

May the Holy Spirit enlighten you!

WHAT IS THE ONE BAPTISM THAT IS REQUIRED OF BY OUR LORD JESUS?

There is ONE GOD, ONE PERSON, and there is also ONE BAPTISM. Not two but ONE BAPTISM:

It is the water baptism practised by IMMERSION in the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST.

Indeed, the Bible says that we are “built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone”.
Ephesians 2:20

If you are really built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone, then you must practise the water baptism as the Apostles of Jesus Christ did.

All the Apostles of Jesus Christ practised the same water baptism.
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."(Revelation 3:22).

PLEASE, SHARE THIS WITH YOUR BROTHERS, YOUR SISTERS AND YOUR FRIENDS.
May the undeserved kindness of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you and all your family!

You worship the sun god, and not the True and living God
May God open your eyes and your ears sothat you can SEE and HEAR the TRUTH.

I worship YAHSHUA THE MESSIAH (JESUS) WHO IS THE ONE TRUE GOD, YAHWEH ALMIGHTY, THE LORD OF THE OLD AND NEW TESTAMENT, THE HEAVENLY FATHER!

AMEN!

Blessings,

Bro. Germain
Gabriel is the Holy Ghost now?????????

HERESY!!!
Thats cause they don't exist! He's in TOTAL ERROR! PURE HERESY!!!
Here say. Read in your Bible. You find it because if I post them, you will beat them down. Here is how there is no Trinity, THe words Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are all titles and not names. Names mean something. The Father is the invisible God who we have not known, and Jesus is the Word of God. The Holy Ghost, or Spirit is the Angels, One in particlular, and that is Gabriel. Lucifer meant light Bringer. He had Gabriel's position before iniquity. Read what sin is: John 3:4
Mr. Israel, if you cannot show proof, then why are you mentioning it? Prove that it what you are saying is not a heresy!

1 Peter 3:15 "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:"
