God has been doing many wonderful things in my life. When names are given to us they signify and prophesy who we are. My new name is "Alisha" has a two fold meaning to me. 1) Alisha means "Noble" and 2) Alisha resembled (Elisha) to me. A servant and protege to Elijah. The name "Alisha" represents the female version to me.
God has changed many of his servants names in the Bible to represent the greatness and who He called them to be. The Name given to me at birth (Sheila) means "Blind". Therefore when people would call my name they were prophesying "Blind", which does not represent the prophetic mantle and my call as a Prophet to the Nations. I wanted to take this opportunity to explain to those who knew me under the former name of "Sheila". I take Joy in knowing that the work that God has begun in me is being perfected in me. God Bless you, Prophet Alisha Banner.
