A poem by Merlene "No, crucify Him"
“NO” CRUCIFY HIM
Pilate looked at Jesus, but found nothing wrong
Said, send Him to Herod, that’s where the Galilean belong
Herod saw Jesus and was exceedingly glad
He had long wanted to meet Him to see the miracles He had
He questioned Him with many words, Jesus answered him not
The chief priest and scribes accused and mocked, but no answers they got
They clothe Him in a gorgeous robe, sent Him back to Pilate again
This is the day Herod and Pilate, enemies, became friends
Neither of them found fault with Jesus, and tried to let Him go
The people cried “No crucify Him” our answer is “No”
The third time, he said to them “What evil has He done”
I found no cause to kill Him, are you sure He’s the One?
(Luke 23:1-22)

As resurrection day draws near, remember He did it for us. Let us be grateful for His life giving blood and celebrate this day all year.
