BETWEEN MIDNIGHT AND MORNING

There are , what appears to be,suspended measures of time in the course of every 24 hr. day, that are pregnant with change, deliverance, renewed hope, greater possibilities, endless opportunities and fresh promise and determination, that can also be, and usually is, the most dragged and delayed, intensely torturous and spiritually debililtating, and draining space of time in our lives. Even though this is one of the absolute "shortest" passing of the elements of time progress that we know, it can impact,shift, and change everything anything, or nothing, depending upon how we handled, responded to and came out of the former 23 hrs. and 59 seconds. I'm speaking of that space in time when the patriarch "David" declared, 'I would've fainted, had I not believed to see the GOODNESS ofthe LORD, in the land of the living"! Take note, that in this overwhelming moment of David's life, He wasn't looking for, didn't expect to or want to see ANYBODY BUT JESUS! This is that isolated spanse of our exiistense that we will never see again,because no "two" of them are identical, in circumstances, atmosphere or origin. Yes, I'm referring to that brief interlude one progresses to, that feels and looks like it will be an "eternity", because the former hours and minutes, days and weeks, and even months and years, have served to blister your very soul, render you so thirsty that' you' d "drink behind a camel", and have you so broken,that all you can utter, no matter what the question is "JESUS"! It's that lasp of time when you are diligently "looking to the hills", "seeking Him with your whole heart, soul, and mind", and "pressing" to the point of "breaking", "breaking down, up,out, an d through, and when you don't want to be bothered with anyone, not even your own self, because you desperately need a blessing, a creative miracle, or at least "one sign", or "half" a wonder"! It's when you've called upon the Lord, had shut in after shut in, prayed until you sweat oil, danced until you passed out, preached yourself silly, and praised til the carpet buckled under your feet, but still there's no sign of the promised "cloud about the size of a man'shand",Gos has "ignored" your fleece, and you've given in every offering, tithed faithfully, sent contributions to every cause and foreign mission that came your way, but still the heavens seem to be shut up to you, and the wicked continue to "prosper in their way", to increase in leaps and bounds, and to mck yiu more each dday, in your distress,depsair,and difficulties! It's when you have nothing more but groanings that can not be uttered, lamentations, and travail of soul, because your tears havebeen your "meat" day and night! I'm talking about your transiton into another day that the Lord has made, that's sure tocontain answered prayers, fulfilked petitrons, and manifest relief and eliverance for somebody, and if you choose to hang on and persevere, and "YET" praise Him, there's a strong possibility that it might be YOU! I'm talkig about that phenomenal, pivotal, mystreoious SET MOMENT in time that was ordered to bring change, newness, manifestation, triumph and kingdom "applause",because it signifies VICTORY, and the testimony that :THE DEVIL DIDN'T WIN OR HAVE HIS WAY YESTERDAY, OR THE ONE BEFORE THAT, BECAUSE, YET AGAIN, HERE I AM TO WORSHIP, GIVE THANKS, AND SERVE HIM ,BECAUSE PRAISE IS JUST WHAT I DO, AND WHO I AM, AND MY PRAISE AND WORSHIP IS NOT CONDITIONAL, IT'S INTENTIONALLY, AND PREMEDITATEDLY ON PURPOSE" THOSE PROFOUND 60 SECONDS THAT SEPARATE AND DETRMIN YOUR MIDNIGHT SUFFERINGS,AND YOUR DAYBREAK VICTORIES ARE SO POWERFUL, THAT JUST "ONE" OF THEM USHERS US INTO AONTHER DAY, YEAR, DECADE, CENTURY AND MILLENIUM. 2009 didn't come in at 8:00 a.m. Jan. 1st,m., it came i at 12:00 .a.m.the "night" before!. The 21st century didn't begin at 1:00 a.m. Jan. 1st 2000, it began at 12:00a.m. Jan. 2000 ,in the millisecond between Dec.31st 1999,and Jan.1st 2000! What's interesting is that all major changes take place AT NIGHT! A new day is not manifest at "sunrise", but in the midddle of the night, dead center to be exact, and the "sun" that ususally shows up as a "testimony" that it's (just another day that the Lord has kept you") is just God's way of signifying, that the moon is at rest, until it's summoned again to exchange shifts with "midnight", once again! In spite of all that this incredible and intriguing about this 60 seconds, it is one of the most difficult and challenging experiences of our lives There's such profound relevance of these particular 60 seconds that hold in their grip, the possibility of one finally "coming out of "Egypt", being loosed from the yokes of bondage, receiving their healing, seeing the ministry take off and prosper, seeing peace return to one's marriage, seeing the rebellion driven out of our children's life, seeing the season of lack and destituion beaten back and driven out, seeing the love of God shed abroad, and all nations be at peace together. These 60 seconds were designed to "try" you, and to "try" your testimony! It's not by accident that the legendary "werewolves", vampires", broom riding "witches, Freaks", and assorted oher nocturnal creatures favored darkness, and they love hanging around "midnight"" to so distract you with their abominable horrors, that you forget to praise God, and give Him glory when your "morning" comes! The nightstalkers, leave their hiding places at about 11:55 p.m. to make sur they "have a good seat" to watch you squirm, throw a tantrum, and moan pathetically, and to "confer" with one another to come up with the best plan or deception to intercept your answered prayers and to sabotage your triumph, focus, and praise! There 's only so much they can do in your "pre-dawn limbo", but there's MUCH you can do, while you're "panting",hungering,thirsting, and pursuing God! You can release such a "disturbing "midnight praise" and release such am awesome shout and a song of confident victory, that the devil will hastily pack up all of his trouble, heartache, death, oppresssion, torment, divorce, adultery, pornography,and destruction, and run up out of the "spot" God has given your feet to tread upon, possess, and conquer without the presence, annoyance, and/or trespassing of any illegal "squatters". The time you invest in complaining and reciting your woes, occupies 1000 times the time needed to translsate you from our midnight despair in to your "morning glory!" Prise God like every second is ticking away to the death of your midnight, and the birth of your morning! Time is of the essence!
