BREAKING

There are not many of us who have not found themselves so overhwhelmed and perplexed, straining to hold on, and pressing and stressing towards the mark, desperately in need of just hearing the nearby brush of angel's wings, or even a "whimper" from God to let us know that His mind is still filled with us, and that we are ,prayerfully, next in line for a blessing, restoration, or some form of a "beakthrough"! We have labored for this mystical manifestation,and we have fasted, pleaded, begged, and travailed for it, and still to no obvious avail, until God says so. There is an inherent problem here, and it's because we haven't scratched beneath the surface of Who God really is, and what exactly it is that He does, in His preeminence and sovereignty. We are so easily conditoned to just flow with already established "church cliches"' or colloquialisms, because they "sound" good, plausible, spiritual, and they seem to work, eventually. "I need a breakthrough" is a universal plea and declaration amongst church folk, and at some time or another, we all have petitioned the Lord for the same, especially when the "devil and his mama" were on our trail, and the furnace of affliction were working overtime to make us "toast"! There's nothing wrong with seeking the Lord for a "breakthrough", but it is far more prudent and beneficial, for us to recognize that a "breakthrough" is not always what we need, and it's usually just the "front door or main entrance" to what our situations actually require and dictate. What am I talking about? I'll tell you what I'm talking about, and it is the fact that when we are under a heavy weight of oppression, that's hindering us and nearly paralyzing what we've been assigne to do, we don't need a Breakthrough, we need to "breakout" of the devil's prisons, and to be loosed from his illegal chains! When we know that our blessings have been released, much like Daniel's were, when the Lord informed him that He heard Him the moment that He prayed, and his desires were released to him, but it was the thief, the sabotager , the "BREAKER" who intercepted them and stored them in his diabolical "Ft. Knox", So we don't need a"breakthrough", what we need to is "break IN" and reclaim what God gave us to possess! In those times when we find ourselves surrounded y people or circumstances that keep us in a constant state of agitation, distraction, doubt, unbelief, frustration and restlessness';when we find ourselves stalling in the ministry we were charged with and our minds and thoughts are on an elevator of their own,and we begin to throw weekend "pity parties" with ourswelves as the guest of honor,while our "friends/enemies, sit on the sidelines and find it entertaining, it's way tpast the time when a "breakthrough" would help, you need a "break up"! When the Lord dealt with the tribe of judah, and they found themselves seriously suffering for their disobedience and rebelling, He didn't come to themwith a "breakthrough', byt He told them, if they wanted yo come from under judgement and travail, then they must "BREAK UP your FALLOW GROUND and sow not among thorns"! Because of their pepetual idolatry, and angering the God of Israel, and because of their persistent pride, impetuosity, presumptiveness, and their forgetting that God is, very much, a God of wrath, Who created both good and evil, darkness and light, they found that they needed a "breakdown' SO THAT THEY MIGHT HUMBLE THEMSELVES UNDER THE ALMIGHTY HAND OF God, and put on humility, and meekness, so that God's wrath and displeasure might be turned away from them and that they might live. How much time have we spent on the altar, or in our personal prayer sactuaries, weeping, drooling, and moaning for a "breakthrough", and bewildered because none ever seemd to come. It's quite possible that we were "praying amiss", because when we make our requests known to God, when we submit suppications, ad petitions, we must be precise and concise, and our prayer needs to match our needs, so therefore, we need to know exactly what it is that we're in need of god,so that the Lord will customize the answers to our cries! Our lives overflow with "breakers" that are relentless in yheir orsuit and intent to take us under and keep us under, and it is imperative that we learn how to "swim against the tide", because the "breakers" are huge tidal waves that do just that, they BREAK any and everything in their path! These may appear to be no more than "small foxes" that seem to only irritate our "vineyards", but one of the other things the "breaker" excels at is deception, by "breaking away" what you see from what you KNOW God said! The "BREAKER" is satan, who comes to kill,steal,and destroy, and He masters in sending contrary imaginations, having you crying out for "breakthrough",when you need another kind of "break". What really gives him the "hometown" advantage is convincing you to "go on "BREAK", when you should be steadfastly plowing through in travail and intercession, and diligently seeking the "Repairer of the "breach and the 'Mender" of the "breaks"!
