WHAT GOD WON'T DO!

In our zeal and excitement over the awesomeness of God, and as we extol Him for His great and marvelous works towards men, we tend to forget that there are some things that God is simply not going to do, and won't do. This is probably a foreign concept to those who have formulated an image of a "Santa//Godfather/Patron Saint/Easter Bunny/Wizard of Oz kind of God, but you're perishing and about to hit a brick wall, in your lack of knowledge. The Bible admonishes us to "....in all thy getting, GET AN UNDERSTANDING", and the way to accomplish this is by "sitting" or "standing" under the uncompromised and unadulterated Word of God! On an elementary level, understand that God can not and WILL NOT LIE, and He is incapable of, and WILL NOT FAIL! I'm sure that those reinforced facts didn't cause anyone to break out in hives or to go into an anxiety attack, but there are other things that God will NEVER DO, that might make you call 911! Here are the facts- God WILL NOT "MAKE YOUR MARRIAGE WORK! He has already given us everything that pertains to life and Godliness, and an effective successful marriage, and it's up to us to"work it"! He honors marriage and the institution of a Biblical "family" above all, but He also equipped us with wisdom, judgement, a will, and a choice, to enter into matrimony according to his counsel, His instruction, and His endorsement, so when we fall short and wind up in a "UH-OHH!" or an "OOPS!", God is NOt about to fix a "mess" that YOu created, but He will renew your strength for you! Breathe, and get ready for the next "ain't gonna do"! God is NOT going to make Bubba "love you", because if He won't Make" Bubba "love HIM", and he owes Him that, He certainly is not going to manipulate the man's emotions to accomodate YOU, and that would be "witchcraft"! Don't faint just yet, because there's another revelation for you: God WILL NOT MAKE "BUBBA","BUBBA JR"., or cute little "Bubbara" GET SAVED, because he has provided every man/woman,boy/girl with a will and a choice to surrender willingly to the call to salvation, and they have a "right" to remain "heathens, a "right" to "be wrong", and a "right" to go to hell", if they so choose! What He WILL DO, is word your mouth in prayer to war for the release of their wills from satan, so that they can hear the gentle urgings of he Lord to "call upon Him while He's near,and to "seek" Him while He may be found! He WILL MAKE, and has made room for them at the cross, and He's shed and made the "blood" available for them, but He WON"T FORCE ANYBODY TO DO ANYTHING FOR HIM, NOT EVEN DESIRE HIM! No natural man, unless He's just got some "issues" or needs to be locked away somewhere, desires intimacy with a woman, especially his mate",if she doesn't share a desire for him, and while more than a few men have ignored the lack of reciprocal desire, and "forced the matter", God is far too much of a divine GENTLEMAN to ever committ such a travesty against us! "NEWS FLASH!" God WILL NOT "make your bills disappear", but He will chasten you to better stewardship, and financial discipline , and grant you favor to resolve your situations! God WILL NOT "make" somebody "bless" you, apologize to you, promote you (especially if you are a trifling employee), or accomodate you in any fashion, because He does not and WILL NOT violate man's will!. He's not a God who "makes" in that fashion, but He does convict,and stir", the spirits of those, whose spirits are yielded and available to Him. He is a God Who "compels",or urges, and if you will recall, He didn't "make" you turn your rebellious, partying, hell-raising life around, but what He did do was allow you to see the emptiness, futility, and wretchednes of your existence and lifestyle, which opened your spirit, soul,and mind to the Way, the Life and the Truth! Even in salvation, and in His service, He WILL NOT make you not tell a lie, not fornicate, serve faithfully, or press deeper! He WILL NOT "make Pastor not lead the flock by constraint, or "make" him resist temptation! He WILL NOT "make" a man/woman of God operate in integrity, or set and raise a standard! God WILL NOT "make" your soul go to heaven, in as much as He WILL NOT "make you "shun hell"! The simple truth about God's character, and the way He relates with that which He has "created" , is that He delights in who/what delights in Him, and He ADDS to the love, desire to be faithful, to be obedient, to be upright morally, to be saved and submitted, to honor marriage and cherish their mates, to love Him and be loved by Him! There are a number of other things that God WILL NOT ever do, not today, and not tomorrow either, but if we concentrate on, perfect,commit to memory ,and to our hearts what God WILL DO, the "WON"T DO"S will never bother us, because we can mark them "N/A"!
