CHILDREN OBEY

Children, obey your parents in the Lord
for this is right, disobedience is wrong
Honor thy father and thy mother
Lose that sassy, rebuking, tone

This is the first commandment with
promise that it may be well with thee
That you will live longer on this earth
Trust the Lord and you will see

As servants of Christ do the will of
God doing it from the heart
God will not be pleased with you
if you are always trying to be “smart”

Finally my children be strong in the
Lord and in His power and might
Put on the whole armour of God and
let His Spirit teach you right
